Every time Chishiya is in a game, I always think he got some type of strategy. But nah, he's just surviving off of his gut feeling and observation. He's just chilling eating his cookies. 💀

The Jack Of Hearts game is definitely my favourite game in the entire series the amount of mind games and backstabbing was insane.

This Jack of Hearts game is such a good idea, it's interesting that you'd go into a hearts game alone because you'd never wanna kill a friend, then have this game be easy if you did bring a friend.

Chishiya casually saying “I’m fuck” after his partner died really emphasize his character. He just don’t give a shit 😂

Chishiya bonding with someone in his own special way and then they get taken out. He doesn't show much emotion but he still cares.

Kyuma was so sympathetic because his actor (Tomohisa Yamashita) really brought out a great character that's only in two episodes. The actor is a VERY, VERY successful Japanese actor AND musician, so this role was basically perfect for him.

Chishiya is the most interesting character of this entire show to me. I love how he is both clever and smug but in such a subtle way.

For those who want to know more about Tatta's backstory. When he was 18, he dropped out of school and dreamed of becoming successful. He was determined to do better than his father who died of anxiety, and to no longer be a financial burden on his mother. His plan was to become a comedian and appear on television. His mother, however, didn't have any faith in him, but that didn't stop him from pursuing his dreams. Tatta always tried to stay optimistic whenever he could, believing that he could get by just by being upbeat and vigorous. He lined up three part-time job interviews, one of those jobs being that car manufacturer we see in the show. He even invested money into taking courses on how to become successful. However, everyone else kept discouraging and putting him down, saying his ideas were trash and embarrassing. Despite how many people told him he wasn't cut out for that line of work, despite all of his friends going to college, Tatta still tried to keep his hopes up and continued to chase his dream, to accomplish something big in his life. Drowned in nothing but insults, each day was another of self-denial. He started relying on his mother to spot him some money, the very thing he didn't want to do. Eventually, all of his friends abandoned him, pursuing their own futures while he was left alone with his dream nowhere in reach. His mother soon got fed up with him asking for money and cut him off. In the end, he never achieved his goal to become successful, but instead became lonely and forgotten. His part-time job became full-time. In an attempt to do better than his father, he just ended up doing worse. Tatta tried his hardest in life, but he wasn't good enough in the end. Then he went to the Borderlands. These were Tatta's final thoughts before he died: *"I did it! In the final of final moments, I did it! Even someone as useless as me can do it if they try. I think now I can understand how Shitara felt, putting his life on the line for his friends. Arisu, you have no idea how much your simple words saved me. I also... thank you..."*

The games with chishya were amazing. He was the best character

Every Chishiya-focused episode were the best episodes this season. They were so good it almost made me want a series where he was the main protagonist instead.

This game is even better when you think about how nobody would go to a Heart game with their friends, yet if you did bring a friend here this becomes very easy

The reason you wouldn’t be able to stay in the prison forever is due to the fact is the rounds happen every hour so you essentially will never get sleep. At most you can maybe get 30 minutes of sleep then stress the other 30 of tryna get the correct suit😂😂

Sheera’s on top of it, it’s players vs citizens (face card players and their teams if they have one) just like the King of Clubs alludes to in his game. Blowing up the blimp is the equivalent of collecting the cards in this phase. Love the reactions!

Going in as a group to a heart game may sound good until you remember what happened in season 1 episode 3 when friends went to a heart game together.

Tatta's death honestly made me sad because he always wanted someone to be grateful of him, & when he finally got that recognition of doing a good job by Arisu, he could pass in peace. I guess I just understand that want of praise for doing something right in your life 😔

Kyuma was an amazing character and I love what he does for Arisu’s character development. After this game, there’s a slow burn to him using his logic more strategically and, in a way, that works for helping the others he’s playing with (which comes clutch later). My dude Chishiya really understood the assignment for this game. I remember I was excited that he got a whole arc because he’s a true anime character with the dry humor and intelligence.

Send love to our best boy Tatta. A nobody became a hero all from his kindness and bravery

Y’all gotta realize everybody here is different. Some of these guys can legitimately just be crazy like that girl. Also you can’t trust the people you came with, after all there’s no guarantee that person you been playing with is 100% sane. The only person who can survive this type of game is those with great people skills.

This was the episode when I decided to be RESPECTFULLY SAT for Chishiya😭😭😩✋🏾

Well, the idea of chilling in prison safe is what many reactors seem to go for... the issue is that you're sleeping in less than one hour cycles, so that's a fast way to lose your marbles.

The true fatal flaw in not trusting anyone is that eventually you will have to trust someone, especially if you want to survive long term, lone wolfing it/the "I'm only out for my self" mindset only gets you so far.

The problem with going in with a big group in a hearts game is that the game will force you to go against each other. Like how arisu lost his homies in that heart game. I plays with your emotions. You never know what the game is going to be before you go in

Kyuma & his friends become my favorite enemies in this series

The Jack of Hearts game is one of my favorite game this season. Also you have to realize that you have to play this game every hour so you can’t even sleep. You can’t survive without sleep so you can’t actually stay in that game forever.

Would love to see an Alice in Borderland spinoff about Kyuma and his squad’s previous experiences from borderland (or any of the kings, queens, and dukes)

BUT, you have to remember -- the NUMBER CARD games' suits were unknown until you actually register for the game while these FACE CARD games have blimps flying in the sky announcing to everyone what SUIT(type) it is and guess what? the #1 rule in the Borderlands is to play the HEARTS suit as a SOLO because almost everyone else aside from the winner is bound to die that's why the players who 'like' playing with friends are always conflicted whether to register as a team or not because they never knew if it was gonna be a HEART game.

Watched the last episode of season lastnight, my mind was fk so savagely, I kinda figured that the way it ended was what happened but damn though... Cant wait until yall reach there.

The way too beat that game is basically what roshi said, people would die and you'd need to take the risk of bringing a trusted friend in cause you wouldn't know what the game is until it starts and its a heart game (risk being cause they wont know until games if its teams or you vs your friend). That trusted friend would guarantee you and the friend survive, go around every single round asking everybody make a list of who lies cross off the list as people start dieing eventually weening out the jack or eventually just lie too the jack from that list (the jack may not lie straight away so every round if a new liar comes up just add them too the list) and game ends. It's a tough game cause people would have too die to win
