4 reasons not to use an email address from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and to use cloud email instead:
1. If you change your Internet Service Provider, you will lose your email address or you will have to pay a fee to keep it.
2. Reliability, security, and a lack of storage space.
3. Syncing across multiple devices may not work.
4. If you are away in another country, you may not be able to send emails.
Examples of cloud email address:
• Gmail (Google)
• iCloud (Apple)
• Outlook (Microsoft)
Note: Hotmail is the old name for Outlook email.
