I spent gems on the pack as I play salads and tear. And memento is pretty cheap so I think I got good mileage out of it. If you dont play salads or tear though, Id say skip and just craft
"Cope piles" interesting that the fun decks you describe them like this while the top meta decks have engines + generic support that shouldn't have been printed because they are too consistent lol

This might be the first time this year I'm going to spend gems early on a selection pack, instead of when it's soon to leave the store, to get S:P. Never summoned that card before. I'll see first hand what it's about sooner or later.
I had to use gems because I had hit the limit on how many gems a player can have. If I’m not mistaken, the max number of gems that a player can have is 11000
Bro I came back to the games this season and the pack odds aren’t right I’ve always been a ftp but now this season I’ve been spending money on gems and It used to be rare to open 10 packs and not even get a UR and when it did happen I used to get excited because the next ten usually would give me 4-5. Not this season.
got 1 copy of SP in just one 10 pull as well as some new Salas URs. Im quite contented, might consider playing Salads soon, though Im still climbing with Swordsoul/Tenyi just to get more gems and get more mats via Duel Pass since Im a returnee
going to be frank, if this wasn't the Horus pack i wouldn't bother. Ive wanted to play something loosely egyptian themed and there isn't much of that in this game since the era of Gravekeepers. making this much of Horus UR is a supreme pain, and honestly if i hadn't been looking at horus since it was announced in the OCG i would not bother with this pack at all. craft S:P, maybe one of the salamangrate ED's for fire, and you likely won't miss this deck. Nemuleria part 2 for me.
Being free to play sucks. I wanna play earth machine but it’s like 800 ur. I don’t want to play snake eyes, but I’m thinking about making an alt and just making snake eyes and getting to masters. Lord know my paleo deck is barely cutting it.
My issue with this pack is ... that I don't see us getting a better pack for the next 1-2 months. What's next? Typhon, Ken, Gen and??? I don't see them throwing Yubel into Master Duel yet. That being said, I do like my jank piles, so for me the Horus stuff is welcome. Opened 5 10 packs, got 2 Imsety, 1 S:P and 7 other URs.

Pulled 3 little knight and 3 raging and an extra princess in 4k lol 😂. Guess I’m not playing the pharaoh Probably a blessing. Got 2 copies of every important extra deck monster in pack. Horus is expensive but not amazing.
Brick is a card you don’t want in your hand. It has very specific applications, but you’d rather get it from the deck than it taking precious real estate from useful cards. For Example, a card like Palladium Oracle Mahad is a complete brick in your opening hand because it can only trigger its effect off you drawing it. Plus it’s a level 7 body, so you can’t even use it as a wall. Bricking is an unplayable hand. Like if you open all extenders and no starters or all handtraps going first.
It breaks the game somehow because its a generic 2 interruption on 1 card that is summoned without a brick and can dodge negates on your own cards and has no cost to use both effects, the knightmare links are dead. Its like a card that does everything but negate. Branded for Example is doomed by a single ip and effect monster because SP alone can interrupt the branded plays all by herself... and you have like 3 more interruptions besides sp so yeah. Going 1st is stronger then before for everyone and going 2nd weaker then ever. And noone should tell me SP helps going second. You will never have a Extra Deck and effect monster out before the oponnents SP interrupts so yeah...
Stop overreacting to this guy, if you check his videos he always does the same thing, don't waste your gems! That's all he says so don't regret what makes you happy and having fun in this game.
The series is called "don't waste your gems before watching this" and then goes over whether I feel the specific pack is worth buying. LOTS of times I've said the pack IS worth buying. Sometimes, I feel it is not.
