😍Wow... I've never seen anyone using the clear embossing ink before stamping another colour. That is such a cool tip! Also... I think I'd better get hubby to pick me up some of that craft foam so I can play with it. I've never seen it used like this... and I'm so grateful you showed me these techniques. Thank you!
@DebHall…my sister in law aka crafting peep… turned me on to this technique of using foam to make stamps from dies and I haven’t looked back! NEVER thought of making background stamps-GENIUS…can’t wait to try it 🙌🏻
wonderful! Loved the using VersaMark for stamping with Distress Inks. What a great idea! Also, why spend extra money to get die cut "words" with the background dies for behind them. From now on I will make the background with foam & just store that with each word die. I LOVE things that save us all money - especially right now when things are getting SO expensive for us creative souls :) Thanks!!
yes! I have so many ugly coloured foam sheets that are so good for this. I try to save the neutral colours for backing my panels so they dont 'glow' from behind
How clever. They look like you used a piece of suede to me. Love the embossing on it too. What tape did you use on the back to hold in the stamperatize. Thanks for sharing.
That one specifically was the Post It Note tape. But if you google low tack tape you can usually find similar ones. I order some from Ali Express and i also have the Mint tape from scrapbook.com, they all work the same

oh no that's gutting, when i was last home i got a big pack from Wallmart in the craft section. It was sticky back on one side and same thickness as stuff here
@@SashaReade ooooh…I haven’t looked Walmart. I don’t go there too often since Covid. Way too crowded and I’m high risk, so makes me nervous, and I’ve had the 4 shots. Next time I’m able to go there, I’ll have to have a look. 😊
