that is what happens when you are the opposing team's morale and teamwork boosting officer, whether you like it or not. Nothing beats having the entire enemy team chasing you and ignoring everything else, happily losing as long as they get to kill you.

i have 18k battles and a 57% win rate and only play DDs. i cringed when you was lost so much HP to get that position. but baiting that kita into your torps with the "easy" DD kill. and the double strike at the end was pretty dang sexy. the British DDs are so powerful. i love that line. gg

That is the most brutal torpedo play i have ever seen and that one torp literally scrapped the paint off your bow that should have gone off. 9:24

So mentally rewarding to see the torps aimed, think in my head "watch that greedy Kitakaze venture out and greed for the Flambass kill, and eat a torp muahaha", then see the smoke puffing along in the directions of the clearly aimed for the Kitakaze torpedoes.... (if the Mushashi backs into one or two, bonus!) and knowing "Ah, yes, I love it when a plan falls into place." And then to hear the whole conversation after that of ppl saying lucky, as if they think they were aimed for anything else... Bruh, that's why you aint unicum. No way those torps would be for Musashi... he's become a permanent fortress on that beach for the past 2 minutes.... He's not moving unless someone moves him. But thats why Flambino is nearly 70% WR, and I'm 61% WR (even though I uninstalled nearly 2 years ago now). I followed the Flambino training program during 18, 19, 20 and 21. I got gud. And exactly for the reasons Flambino is upset in this clip, I uninstalled and said goodbye to 4 digits of wasted American dollars on this horribly managed game for Russians to stroke their fragile egos. Meh. GG, Flambass. Well played.

I found much of the same on my ranked games. IF youre a good player, regardless of damage done, you tend to have a bigger impact on the outcome of a ranked game if youre in a DD. I will save more stars in losses if I'm in a cruiser, and I will often out damage my teammates, but I find we will lose more. When I'm in a DD my damage numbers drops considerably, but we win more

The thing you quickly learn as a DD main; is that every hit to your hull really Hurts! Something BB captains will almost never learn. Also, the only time Flambass lies, is when he says he "doesn't" want to sink the entire enemy team. :P

Not ashamed to admit I picked the cossack to abuse star saving (low tier xp bonus against higher tier dds) but ended with 64 winrate in gold because I refused to risk my ship for ANY kind of teamplay or reliance on a teammate. Sad to see how well it worked too.

As a frequent DD captain ... I feel your pain and have the t-shirt ...

0:23 That's exactly the reason why I can predict the outcome of any match after about 5 minutes with a success rate of 90%: The team shooting enemy dds wins. Simple as that.

But, but... it's the glorious, much feared russian navy! (looks at the Black Sea :D) They always had sooo many aircraft carriers! :D

i believe you, however, i believe you didn't think he'd try to smoke up the musashi and head that direction, i believe you figured he'd try and hunt you down from behind that island. Projection from my end....perhaps :D I was thinking that way

Question: sometimes when you are zoomed in to aim, you slide the view horizontally slightly to see around an island. How do you do that? Happens at around 4:30 in the video.

Too many games with back of the map BBs , and camped behind island cruisers that can’t shoot anything because their guns are blocked.

for whom else should the torps have been? the musashi has no reason to back away. no pressure on him. it's obviously kita who wants to kill yo ;) musashi positioned himself to be safe from your torps - which is a good play of him.

All according to Keikaku my dear Comrade. I also hate that those russian magical ships with the lowest fire chance.. set you on fire more often than fucking Conqueror or Thunderer..

Or your entire team yolo's straight at the opposing side and dies in the first three minutes of the game. Love those games..

The fact that it took 9 torps to do 50k?

You are getting focused simply because anyone knows that DD are BY FAR the most powerful and influencing class in the game. Infact just look at at all the recent competitive tournaments (Kots, Masters etc..) where there can be no CV ( so no way to spot them), and we have all clans deploy mostly Dd , and even sometimes NO BB at all... "DD mafia is real" in this game.

Role number 1 the ohter team gets it yours dont......

The first 35 Seconds are the reason I hate this game now. Happens 9/10 times, not even exaggerated.

Just play sub so you are faster, stealthily and have much better torpedoes than any DD. Sure the gameplay is boring but so is CVs and WG thinks you should play it anyway....

I just love it when you have 1 - 3 afk players on YOUR team that is either a DD or a CV and once they join the match 5 - 7 minutes later, they're the first ones to either take massive damage or worse dies first. My WoW experience 90% of the time.
