Don Williams is the greatest underrated male country singer of all time and what a damn shame he didnt get more credit for his beyond great songs and sadly not even in the country music hall of fame where he truly deserves to be in
I pray that Don did have that heartbeat next to him. That he had someone who treasured him as I'm sure he treasured her. He gave so much in his life. I hope he had what was most important to him. RIP Don, we miss you but your music will always be with us. Always.
This is my new favorite that I discovered when a best friend sent me one of Don William song. I enjoyed the song so much, I started exploring the rest of his music, and love all of it. It good old fashioned ROMANTIC MUSIC. I like the old fashion Romantic music. It brings up all the love I feel for my husband after 27 of marriage we still very much in love. When I hear this song I can't stop my tears of Happiness. When my Husband goes to work 12 hour shifts I feel like I did when we were dating. In 27 years of my Marriage it's still fresh and new. I love my Husband more than anything else in the world even my house. We had nothing but LOVE. I feel so grateful and bless to have such a great marriage. Thank you Don Williams for all the GREAT MUSIC I enjoy them. LOVE
I do understand why so many people were so down on don williams he was one great country singer i am so thankfull i got to see him in concert before his passing his music will live on
Wow .. didn't know he had passed. I came here after finding out Russell "Russ" Smith of the Amazing Rhythm Aces - co-writer of this tune - passed away in July of last year. wth??? Getting older means you know more and more dead people .. :-(

Carol and I hear Don singing and we feel the pain. It's kind of amazing. You hear that voice and you feel loss and the wonder of something so beautiful. Don will always be with us as long as we keep listening.
Don has a very special place in my heart. I had the honour of seeing him in person at the tender age of 15 when he did his farewell tour in the UK I love his music and his death hit me so hard you will never be forgotten Don you're forever in my heart and mind ❤ xxxxx
