For real he's got a resume for the record books. Beat a lot of previous champions and future champions. Sad to see him never win the belt but he fought the best even on short notice. That's a real champion in my eyes.
@@gavink03 Yep when a guy loses people forget about him. When he wins he's on top of the world. Coming back from a loss is more impressive than someone coming back from a win.
There is a video of dude walking up on Matt Serra eating breakfast. He was all offended that Matt didn't know who he was. He and Matt had a funny back and forth. I suspect it was taking everything Matt had in him to not stand up and smack the guy.
Woulda been a really intresting sight, i.e. Diego and Cowboy as they head towards the end of their brilliant/HOF careers. Much respect to both (and to Joshua for standing-up for his fighter).
I agree somewhat but I don't think it's age it's more commitment he's always doing crazy shit don't really know his opponents most the time and drinks and smokes joints and chews tobacco etc... It's lack of effort imo
Conor still camps with Ido - Conor recently posted on his story about Ido last week. Ido couldn’t make it to his camp for Poirier due to some covid restrictions
Ido isn't at all like fabia. He's much more humble about what he believes than fabia and he's not a jerk. Maybe he's manipulative from what I don't see but from what I do they don't compare
"I think Diego got tapped in 40 seconds for sure, different kind of stroke for different kind of folks buddy" @ 10:16 - one of the greatest quotes in mma history.
His cult leader and lover.😂😂😂 when fabia is talking on behalf of Diego, 50% of the time Diego's looking at him with the puppy dog eyes and the other 50 he's stood looking like a battered wife.
I know dude!? I'm done feeling bad for Deigo if he's believing the bullshit coming out of that fools mouth, which is EASY TO SPOT. He fuckin deserves everything he's getting....
Well the interview only lasted for 10 min which show people didn't have much questions anyways or he asked wht everybody wanted to asked . 🤔 i dnt get your point .
@@chris092183 @Gus Gang he is after this fight. He’s 38 years old and his division is just getting tougher. He’s a great athlete, humble as can be, we will miss you Donald ❤️
@@brettbaratheon9776 You’re not funny hate to break it to you. Your comment was more pointless though. Why argue semantics when the original comment was also trying to complement cowboy lol.
When Diego's weird coach was born the doctor said "it's a boy!" Diego's weird coach then replied "Ok, you see how that can be disrespectful, you're not even willing to say my name" -true story
No joke I think Diego is being blackmailed by Fabia for some shit. Maybe they hooked up and Diego doesn't want that out. They look like a gay couple lmao
Bruv I was thinking this the other day lmao. I feel like Fabia has some kinda leverage that Diego is too scared to let out. If he came out the closet he'd be happier with himself and could ditch Joshua...but idk lmao. Bulk theories.
@@rao420 yeah but if you're not willing to let go of the "alpha male" image it'd be hard to do. Beating him up would be easy but then he has to live with the aftermath ya know. Fabia...we all know he's topped off a bloke or two but Diego might not want the world to look at him differently.
@The Notorious Conor Mcgregor getting beat up is nothing if you could threaten someone with something they don't want the world to know bruv. Diego could fuck him up...yes...easy, no competition. But if Fabia had some dirt on him that Diego really doesn't want to get out...of course he'd never risk it.
From 2013-2016 this guy fought 15 times and was (13-2) only losing to RDA is HIS prime. What a legend. Bona-fide HOFer even though he never won the title.
Shame his head went when he was close to getting the belt his head seemed to go under the pressure and those were the fight's he never performed to his full potential one of the most talented fighters to never be a UFC champion
Man I just watched the Diego interview with Anthony Smith. It was sad man. Diego is such a nice guy and he is really struggling right now. We all need to show Diego some love.
Problem is fabia got into his soul and brain. Its very hard for outsiders to get through when two ppl have established such destructive bonds... He fooled him spiritually...
Dan, I saw it too but Diego doesn't realize what's really going on. Everyone can see it but him. I've see women like this. You can't get through to them until they can see it for themselves. Here's a question. Does anyone think Diego's career would have ended like this if he hadn't been influenced by Fabia? There's the answer & it points to the problem.
Diego is a grown ass man, he can make his own decisions. And show him love? Dont worry, hes getting all sorts of love from fabia in the locker room after practice.
Hearing Cowboy say he's been working on his head movement is the greatest thing I have ever heard coming out of Cowboys mouth. Which means hes finally focusing on the things he should of been working on years ago. Him saying that he's working on his head movement just got me more excited to want to watch Cowboy fight more so than ever before. Finally and hopefully a more evolved Cowboy. Same old Cowboy just a more evolved Cowboy. Hopefully he doesn't get cracked and ends up just standing there absorbing head shot after head shot. We will see!!!
YES! Man.... if he would get some more head movement and some “boxing” movements he’d be way more deadly. He gets super stiff in the stance at times. Love the guy but also struggle to watch it lol
@@MagicMan20 Old school Muay Thai man, I wish he had more head movement too but it wont happen hard to break a 20 plus year habit. Cowboy will be missed when his retirement comes that is for sure.
@@Megatronusv1 actual old school muay Thai fighters usually have great defenses. Cowboy Cerrone and most people in mma have shit defenses because they have shit defenses, not because of their muay Thai lineage
I download all sorts of stuff on RU-vid and listen all day at work. Generally nobody even realizes I'm listening to headphones, that is until I literally start howling out loud. When he said that "Im sure he got tapped, but its a different kind of tapped. Different strokes for different folks" I'm still chuckling.
Side topic but what is it with Jon Morgan almost always gives a quite response to every answer when you don't need to say anything. 1:28 "yeahhh" 2:27 "niceeee" 4:19 "yeah that was pretty cool"
Wait - really? There are so many stories that are better to endear yourself to Cowboy...and you choose the story where he assaults a guy? What? Choose the cave diving story, choose all of his awesome fights; choose his sparring with Blake Griffin...you literally picked the story where Donald was the bad guy - OKAY.
@Morty C-137 There is a difference between being a heel and a dick. Cowboy is a great fighter, he's entertaining in the ring, he has interesting stories. Him being a drunken, insecure asshole who picks fight is a bad thing. That's not "being real".
I can think of a couple reasons, biggest reason he doesn’t show up to the big fights?!?!? If I want to see someone who is good tool on some folks I’ll watch MVP😂😂
@@VangoghC5C right now only thing tbh. Haven’t really seen much after his last fight. But it might be getting close to the end for him. I have nothing against him personally
@@Dirty_mike_and_dem_boys well that is a pretty good reason. I didnt even think about that at all. And that makes sense cuz he has folded in every main event that I can remember now that u mentioned it. But respect that he shows up and throws down either way. So respect cuz you gave a very valid reason.
I always respected cowboy for showing fans his true feelings, even when super gritty dudes like diaz made fun of him for saying he gets scared before the fight but I’m sure most fighters do. Not everyone is built mentally like diaz and most feel what cowboy feels. Even in this interview he says he’s ready to go and wants to clamp down and go to war but sometimes when you get in there you can freeze up and your body just won’t throw anything. Love that insight by cowboy. Such a real authentic dude.
The picture of Diego and Joshua, the one where they look like they are wearing underwear sitting next to each other on a bed, sure looks like a "coming out" picture to me
Donald Cerrone is such a good guy and great fighter....I would miss him bad if he ever left....Love Donald....One of the best ever....I think he realizes his career is coming to the end because his age is catching up with him....I think he has a few more years....I think he will win this next fight.........He is fired up......The ending was so so funny....LOVE DONALD CERRONE.......FUNNY DUDE...
Cowboy hands down is my favorite fighter. He is always game, and humble as hell. Comes to finish or be finished, perfect balance of skill and ability to give the fans what they want to see. Super happy they gave him the Connor fight.
