Thank you Steve, for bringing the truth and highlighting our small but powerful Coachella Valley of Southern California. El Paseo is a Lux shopping area of Palm Desert lined with wonderful restaurants and exclusive retailers. Compared often to Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills California. Palm Desert is about Thirty minutes from famous Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage known as the Presidents Playground and home to numerous celebrities. Residents were outraged at Karina Quintanillas's fb defamatory post on her mayor page! And they expressed so at a scheduled city meeting. This mayor has lied repeatedly about numerous sham incidents. In early 2024 she accused City Council member Kathleen kelly of slapping her not Once, not Twice, but Four times at an official department meeting! Out of Seven or so attending the meeting only one person said (maybe) their arms brushed when Kathleen was possibly accessing/raising her phone to take a picture. The embarrassing story quickly went away as there is recorded video of official meetings. Recently, of many controversial incidents the mayor seems to imagine, she now declares death threats due to the response of her vile post. She also claimed people walking in the vicinity of The Patriot Store were being attacked and that other business owners on El Paseo were complaining about the store. Of course the mayor has not brought forth names of businesses or any such incidents on the street. Local news has not reported incidents of people being attacked and no business owners have come forward confirming the mayors claims. In her post she trashed the El Paseo Catalogue that advertises and highlights everything about about El Paseo. A complimentary article about The Patriot Store triggered the mayor. The local news just like main stream media seems to be giving her a pass on all these ridiculous allegations. She obfuscates during even the softest of interviews. In my view this is the typical scenario of Demonrats, they are bullies. They do not know the history of their party. #WalkAway Foundation's Brandon Straka knows this well. Watching from good ole Blighty (England.) I do admire the attitude of the beach store couple Frank & Jennifer and the other Patriot Store lady Joy. The treatment they receive from Democrat supporters says it ally about what has happened to 'Progressives' and Democrats in the last few years. They appear to have developed extremely thin skins and from there descended into a sort of hysteria. Back in 2016, I would have described myself as 'Democrat supporting' but they've persuaded me that they are no longer 'The Good Guys'. I can completely sympathise with those liberal-minded, fair play, and due process, Americans who have joined the Walk Away Movement & turned their backs on the Democratic Party. To be honest, these days they look ANYTHING BUT democratic.
