Donald Trump takes questions at NABJ conference | Full Conference

Current Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump is set to be in Chicago on Wednesday, and says he will attend the National Association of Black Journalists Annual Convention & Career Fair.
The decision to host Trump has not gone over well with some NABJ members. The decision even led the co-chair for the convention, Karen Attiah, to step down.
"To the journalists interviewing Trump, I wish them the best of luck," Attiah wrote. "For everyone else, I'm looking forward to meeting and reconnecting with all of you in the Windy City."
On Tuesday night - a night after the announcement that Trump would be appearing - NABJ President Ken Lemon reiterated that the invitation to Trump was not an endorsement, and was something extended to both Trump and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris has offered to address NABJ members virtually after the convention. Event organizers say they are still working to reach an agreement.

And the North American colonies were a lot more violent towards Native Americans compared to South American colonies. So once all the colonies stopped being colonies and became recognized countries, European counties favored North America because they were biased against the influence Native American culture had on South America. And just as they did with Haiti when it fought and won its independence, those European countries united to make those counties impoverished and keep them from being influential. TLDR: Imperialism and white supremecy made it so, and you're basically promoting a "might makes right" mentally about history and politics.

Funny how this was an event specifically for blacks, yet he's called racist. Those in attendance are solely focused on what a candidate will do for blacks, and you fault him for specifying black jobs. You also expose that you think many jobs are "bad" and that the people doing them are of lesser value to society. ...and you automatically lump certain demographics into those roles. Consider: 1) Setting aside that you think critical trades aren't valuable, supply and demand dictates wages; if you have 10s of millions of extra supply - who aren't black - the effect is some of those folks will be willing to do existing jobs for less money. 2) When they're illegals - and they're certainly illegal immigrants - an employer can't exactly send them a W-2 for tax filings, so they get paid cash under the table. When an employer can cut expenses in pay and pay A LOT less in taxes, unemployment, disability, and such, what do you think results? It's certainly not more jobs for blacks or whites or legal immigrants, either.

1. He always brings up that Dems want abortions in the 9th month. When he was rebuked by them stating it is illegal in every state, he just talked over them. And the truth is, Dems are NOT advocating for abortions in the 9th month. 2. What also strikes me is how insulted he was at what he claims was "rude." 1) HE is ALWAYS rude. He can give it but cannot take it; 2) It was NOT rude. It was a hard question about things he actually said and did. 3. He falsely claimed that Haris “didn’t pass” the bar exam. Harris failed on her first attempt, which is common in California, but then passed; she was admitted to the California bar in 1990, the year after she graduated from law school 4. Finally, he just glosses over the J6 rioters, promising to pardon those who have been convicted.

First, let's put out there what he said. He's talking about a proposed **state bill** which, among other things, would end a state rule that requires at least three physicians confirm that a third trimester abortion is necessary to prevent the woman’s death. 1) This involves EXTREME cases, whereby the woman's life is at risk. 2) Again, it is an extreme case, and not the norm. Most Dems are NOT advocating for late term abortions; that is merely a straw man fallacy. [Straw man fallacy occurs when someone distorts or exaggerates another person's argument, and then attacks the distorted version of the argument instead of refuting the original point.]

It’s been nearly 3 weeks. I’ve had surgery on my ear and it looked almost completely normal in a few days. There isn’t much tissue there that needs heal.
