ERB is definitely the best comedic RU-vid rappers. They've even had actual battle rappers do cameos (one of my favorites being MC Jin in Eastern Philosophers vs Western Philosophers). They definitely got real bars to go with the humor of it all. Also in terms of bars, the best is Eastern Philosophers vs Western Philosophers (I'd say tied with Zeus vs Thor)

If it's the bars you seek, you'll be pleasantly surprised by flows, cadences and bars in ERB. It's not just the fun factor that made them popular. Shit is GOOD. There are some youtube rappers starring in Western vs Eastern Philosophers. It has some nice oldschool rap references, flows, bars.

It's always a surprise when I see people's reaction to ERB for first time. And, yes. ERB does a lot of fuckin' research. To the point where if you think something sounds out of left field or didn't made sense then you'll get called out by people who knows the reference. But yeah, it's better to watch a battle where you're familiar with the characters so you don't feel out of the loop. Hopefully you'll continue more, man. This was a blast.

The only catch is if you don't know much about the people/series in the battle, you'll miss a lot... Watching ERB without any knowledge of the characters involved wont be that enjoyable, but when you know who is involved its very good because they do a lot of research on the different characters. Also geniuns has the lyrics and their meaning for a løot of the battles on the website so it could be an idea to have that up while reacting so that you can quickly check what something means.

Most of the ERB battles are on this level, as long as you know the topics. The get real personal on them.
