New Graduate Medical Education programs need funding today in Chico and Oroville, where the Thompson Fire is threatening the launch of a new Psychiatry Residency at Oroville Hospital. Healthy Rural California's new Psychiatry Residency was born in 2019 from the ashes of the Camp Fire and needs funding for our first class of Psychiatry Residents who started in June 2024. With each fire in Butte County, our collective efforts to improve access to care are threatened.
