@@banished4eva Since we actually have no way of knowing what Donghae is thinking/feeling, this is just what I think. First, I'm just a casual listener of Suju but as long-term ELFs have stated in the comment section, they rarely see Donghae interact with girls. He's usually shy and reserved around women, and so seeing him approach a girl or make the first move to talk to a woman is something out of this world. He's been in the industry for more than a decade and his actions towards Yein is a first. Second, no one member is mad at any person throughout this whole show. I'd think that they're all professional to handle their own feelings and not get mad at someone so easily especially since it's a show where whatever you're doing is being filmed. They're just having a competition and being playful with one another so I don't think that Donghae is actually mad at Yein while he tries to appear so (maybe for comedic purposes or something else ;) ). Third, it's common knowledge (I think) that when boys like girls (this is most common in naive children), they try to annoy them and such to make the girl notice them. I think that this is what's Donghae is doing. He may have liked her during their first interaction and so throughout the show, he's trying to catch her attention by doing anything or just trying to make her laugh. He's also consistently interacting with her. Fourth, their dynamic is really cute and I think that's why many people like it. He looks happy annoying her and she takes it really well (not get annoyed or hurt), which makes it fun for the audience. I hope this answers your question.

I swear this episode was like the pairing of Donghae with Yein , Mijoo with Heechul and Jin with Siwon...All their interactions at the second last game was too funny and cute at the same time
Everyone is talking about Heechul and Donghae, while I'm here noticing Yesung asking Yein if she's okay. He's such a gentleman and sweetheart, caring for their juniors and making sure they are comfortable with them. I'm not an Elf but I really like their personalities, they're funny and they know how to be kind to others and they show how they love their fans a lot.

Donghae is expressive to a fault. Way to many times he has scared the girls on this show by getting too close to them. Considering how shy he is this means that he isn’t someone who hides his intentions or is malicious. He just does as he feels. I love how Yesung apologizes. Lol
