Yesung isn't really into variety shows unlike others SJ members. That's why if he say "I'm hurt..", i believe him. ELFs actually don't have any right to being mad on AOA, because we know really well how variety shows work.

Hmm.. that's so true. Yesung is soooo sensitive! He can't fit with that girls because he is sensitive and serious not easy-going! And that AOA just chosed him. I know it was just a game and trying to be funny but Oppa's sense of humor doesn't match with girls. He is cool enough in so many other situations.
i feel so sorry for yesung. he looked so uncomfortable and out of place. he's not really the sporty type and he's a klutz. i know it affects him when he always loses lol. he looks so unconfident. yesung has a weird sense of humor, he was able to show it in the first couple of years of super junior. but after more than a decade, the group already developed a certain kind of humor and his humor doesn't really fit :( i hope he gets comfortable and just act natural like he used to. 4d characters are well-loved in kpop yesungie!
This is a late reply but I just recently became an elf and a cloud. I completely agree with you. It's so sad to see him out of place sometimes just because he has a different sense of humor and not as aggressive/loud as the other members even though we know that he wants to do well in the guesting. That's why I pick what shows to watch because there are some MCs who ignore him, although it may be unintentional and cut him off when he is talking. He shines the most when it's just a show involving the members, same with Donghae. Donghae can be incredibly cute and funny when it's just them (although I can sense that he has it in him to survive variety show but he is just shy). Please continue to be your quirky and random self, Yeye. 💙 A lot of elfs love you just the way you are.
i realized this thing the very first time i joined the fandom, and that's exactly the reason why i love him so much he's just so pure and unique(?) i can really understand his personality. and i knew donghae's humor sense from knowing bros, they are all just funny and cute even when they do little things, i love them all for being themselves💙 (i'm new to this fandom btw🙈)
All the suju members could tell Yesung was hurt. I like how they stood up for him in a couple spots. The girl was too personal and rude. He was taking it very personally. I was almost crying with him. No wonder he doesn’t do many variety shows.

I know that the girl just trying to be funny, but attacking at someone appearance over and over again is really not right, especially if you're not close to them. Suju can mocking each other because they're already really really close. But even sometimes they can feel hurt to. Kyuhyun once said 'If i joking with yesung hyung i need to be careful, because he can really get hurt from it' and yesung once said there one phone call from siwon that really get to his mind because siwon said his face looked really bloated in one of TV appearance. And if you see, suju member never make fun of his look, the furthest is about the accessories he wear. The member really concerned about his lack of confidence and dieting habits, that they even said it many times in return :(

watching this made me sad too. I have a similar personality type to yesung and am not that straightforward and good at showing off. It's funny when he explodes at his suju members when they piss him off, but he can't really do that with girl groups on a variety show.
Seriously! At the beginning it was funny, but at a certain point anyone with empathy would understand that he was not having a good time and wasn’t laughing with them, and they should have let it go instead of picking on him the whole time. And they’re his hoobaes too, it was inappropriate.

I wanna protect Yesung T_T If this was years ago he woulda wooped everyone's butt. Remember when he boxed Kangin? He was one of the strongest suju members. But he's lost a lot of confidence and weight so ofc he isn't as athletic anymore.
yesung is such a precious person. Like members said, he is sensetive and he take in every comments said to him. Can we blame yeye? the treatment he got during training days werent easy, i actually cried when i read the whole story, it was really sad. The only good thing about the story is he ended up with SJ. i know sometimes mems bully him too much but they know yesung will accept it and i think the only reason he was bullied by the mems is to give him screen time cause lately he is being so quiet. But when other peps bully him mems are there to rescue him. I just love them together and i love yesung so much, i wanted to protect him for the haters and i hope ALL ELF will love and support him too. Cause lately there are some bad comments saying its from ELF but i dont think so cause for me a true ELF will never say bad things to any suju members may it be their bias or not
I've watched a lot of variety shows and always, always even if a hoobae teases a sunbae they would make a gesture of apology or actually apologize right after. Those girls were sure having the time of their lives doing that to Yesung.

Tbh I liked the first episodes where Yesung got a lot of attention (easiest suju member to win against ). They were the funniest ones. He's so seldom in variety and often gets overshadowed by the others that I simply enjoyed seeing him

I have not been able to watch the episode with AOA nor do I have any intention of watching it because I know it will only pain me seeing Yesung getting hurt.
