I really did not expect to fight K.Rool in a boxing ring and having the crowd booing me the whole time, although the boss fight was pretty funny and entertaining. Lol

i just love how no matter how k. rool ends up by the end of the round, he just continues to the next one.....like there isn't a huge shattered shattered over his head in round 3

Tiny Kong going into K. Rool’s shoe and attacking his toes was always my favorite part.

Chunky Kong sending K Rool to the oposite corner of one punch. Chunky and Tiny are the only ones with boss battles thought around their exclusive abilities, they should have done that since the second level. Imagine Diddy fighting Dogadon with the rocket barrel or Lanky using his orangstand sprint on a boss.

Lots of fun. Good times. And, a unique, creative, and varied (final) boss battle. What a classic.

To this day this remains as one of my favorite final bosses in any video game ever

This was easily the best boss fight in the game. Also, a comeback for K.Rool after the lame fights in DKC3.

I remember imitating the ref and worm, and whenever the crowd started booing at the Kongs, this little kid says "I know why they're doing it."

My favorite final boss. So much silliness and satisfaction at humiliating the villain.

Favorite part has to be when Chunky becomes giant and gives the kremlin king a good ol knuckle sandwich

If we were taking real boxing rules into this, the kings would be cheating on 66 different occasions! Most being the objects in the ring and using them. Then is their attire, DK has no boxing gloves, that’s 1. He isn’t WEARING any attire either so that’s another. Diddy is wearing a cap, so that’s headgear which is illegal. He also doesn’t wear attire so that’s another, boxing gloves and all. Lanky king wears overalls, not proper boxing shorts and of course, no gloves. Same applies for tiny except she also wears headgear. Then is their fighting. DK attacks 4 times with barrels so that’s instantly 8, bringing the item in and using it. Diddy kong flies, that’s illegal. He also BLINDS K Rool which is another point docked off, using his jet pack is also another 8. Then is Lanky Kong, he brings 8 foreign objects in, AND USES THEM ALL! Also tripping k rool is 4 points docked off. He also taunts k rool, that’s another 4. Then is the big- well small one. Tiny kong. She goes tiny mid fight, illegal. She enters his SHOE which is illegal, she does it 4 times so that’s 4. Attacking him through his shoe is illegal, another 4, foreign object, that’s 8. Finally is Chunky Kong. He is the least memorable kong and he only gets 3 attacks so that’s why. He turns giant which is illegal so that’s 6 to end off the whole thing. K rool only gets 4, he wears overalls, that’s 1. He wears a crown, that’s another. He also CRUSHED THE REF! that’s another. Then he attacks illegally by ground pounding. That’s all I know.

Is it possible to learn this power? Not from a first time player.

Strange that in the boss fight k.rool has 4 toes while in all the other games as well as the game over screen he has 3

Normally I point this out in Punch out videos but I'll count this each fighter cheats in some form K Rool - Fighting outside his weight class, using gloves as a projectile, Body slamming, Improper attire, headwear with his crown, excessive taunting, using the ropes to attack with, fighting with damaged equiptment (hole in his shoe), and rigging the referee DK - Improper attire, Outside equiptment (barrels), firing himself out as an attack Diddy Kong - Outside weight class, improper attire, headwear, Flying, Carrying a weapon, Using said weapon, attacking the opponent with peices of the ring, and Destroying the ring Lanky Kong - Outside weight class, improper attire, external equiptment (buttons, barrels, and bananas), having a musical instrument in the ring, Taunting (playing said instrument) Tiny Kong - Severely out of weight class, Use of magic, Illegal move (attacking Krools foot), Headwear, Improper attire, Barrel usage, Having and using an external weapon (feathers) Chunky Kong - Use of magic, Improper attire

I don't know why, but I always felt kinda bad for K.Rool during this fight, he isn't only being beaten by the Kongs, he is being humiliated by them during the entire fight.
