I pray with his inclusion in Smash, that he might actually start appearing in games again. A fight against K. Rool wasn't just a boss battle, it was a gauntlet, a long, tedious fight that tested your skills and wits. Rewarding those that had the patience to learn all of his moves. He was always the end all, be all of bosses. Other baddies just don't compare.

I remember when I was playing Tropical Freeze for the first time, I was theorizing who I thought the Shadowy figure at the beginning was, and Thoughtt it was King K Rool Dressed up Like a Yeti. The Final Boss of Tropical Freeze SUCKED

So K. Rool went from summoning cannonballs from the sky, to summoning METEORS from the sky. I guess he's really grown up over the years. And by that I mean OH MY GOSH HE'S FLIPPING HUGE!!

We could've gotten this epic Kroc in Super Smash Bros. Instead, they skinned him and made our Mii Fighters wear him as a suit. I am disappointed.

God damn that dk64 final fight was so amazing. What an endurance test! Mess it all up, got to start from the beginning!

I can actually see him functioning pretty well as a fighter in Smash. Most of the heavies focus on close range combat and hitting incredibly hard, but K.Rool could take the "does not die" part to the extreme with more focus on ranged combat but lessened melee abilities to make up for it. Still slow with a lot of kill power, but his attacks do low damage (high knockback though) and he's not that much faster than Ganondorf. Very defensive but still fun and interesting.

After his performance in the ring on DK 64, I can see why it took so long for K. Rool to be added onto Smash. That fight took away his street cred

My favorite has to be DK64, it was more exciting in my opinion. Really cinematic, you got to use every Kong, K.Rool's reactions to each one are fittingly over the top, it's funny watching the Kremlings desperately trying to save him by the bell, and then you got the funny way it ended, it was all around gold. About the only part that was a bit frustrating when I was a kid was initially with Diddy Kong, it's pretty hard trying to get into the jetpack barrel when you're being glove slapped.

Seriously, tough... you forgot his normal battles in DKC2 and DKC3, tou only showed the secret ones. Not sure about the DKL versions, since I didn't 100% then.

Man I really miss K.Rool, the Donkey Kong County series just hasn't been the same without him and the Kremlings, and I've always loved the theory or interpretation or whatever you want to call it that K.Rool has multiple personality disorder and that's why he was always in a different persona in each game I kind of think it's awesomely absurd that the villain of a series is a giant insane anthropomorphic crocodile who has multiple personality disorder and that his army just goes with what he does when he changes his looks by becoming pirates and such either due to not bothering to question it or being terrified of him. I don't know to me like I said the idea of K.Rool having multiple personality disorder is awesomely absurd when you think about it, I mean think about what I said back there a giant anthropomorphic crocodile that suffers from multiple personality disorder that leads an army that changes their looks when he starts to suffer from it that has a clan of primates as his mortal enemies, I mean think of how much that's absurd but awesome at the same time.

The best part about K. Rool is that he managed to have more personality than other core Nintendo villains when he was invented. Namely Bowser.

I’m in the middle of the DK 64 battle and it’s SO HARD. I’ve only tried A MILLION times but i finally made it to Lanky... there’s just so much to do. Ugh. Gives me such an adrenaline rush when I’m doing good @ the boss fight
