My favorite boss has to be Thugly, the fight is just like the first boss, Mugly, but a lot harder. The best thing is the Soundtrack, the fact as you progress with each stage the music gets more and more intense. Love it

You could even make the case that the reason the music gets crazier and more intense is because as donkey Kong beats the ever living shit out of the boss it’s progressively snapping him out of the tikis control and this the Tiki has to crank up the music to keep them brainwashed and mind controlled

Lol me too! I would get mad when he would waste my lives, so I always made him play levels where we had a super guide. I managed to convince him that he was so good at the game that he could play it without even touching the controller. He believed it for YEARS!! I remember raging so much when flying all the way to the top of the tiki tower and when you get defeated at the final boss, YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAVE TO FLY ALL THE WAY UP AGAIN (You should’ve added the part when you have to fly up btw)

22:02 as a 10 year old. I couldnt really understand what was going on in this scene. As i watched in horror of how the mask ive once beaten to a pulp with upbeat music, Have now melted into nothing more than golden orbs of the bananas DK swore to protect, and that tone shift as the un-disticable globs joined to create two giant hands of doom. I honestly feel bad for the creatures. They didn't choose to attack, they were forced to. They were killed but they were innocent. I feel mostly bad for Mangoruby. Mangoruby was such a beautiful and mysterious creature.
