Johnny C always accepts tips and recommendations and when meeting Jimmy a true Bergen County guy Johnny C followed his lead. This was a place Jimmy grew up going to as a child and Donna's Pizza is truly the last standing Italian Eatery on Broad Avenue in Palisades Park. Owner Matty Testino started Donna's Pizza in 1965 bringing recipes fro Bari, Italy. A menu is proudly up on the wall from 1968 showing a Tomato & Cheese Pie sold for $1.60 and a slice was 10 cents. Mike the Pizzaiola has been making pies here since 1982. Folks wait to you see this Sicilian Pie it is the go to as many loyal local patrons had their Sicilian Pie on their table. As Mike says there's nothing but Heart & Love here and that mixed with original recipes, original ovens you get yourself an original pizza!
