Re: DPA-1 (Cheaper wall-wart stye with chained power plugs)… My band complained of annoying bird noise from my high gain guitar effects. The noise disappeared when I used a different power supply.

My ear hasn't heard any significant noise since I've been using it. My rig is pretty silent unless other things in the chain effect it such as kicking on my single coil pickup and nothing noticeable at home or the venues I've played at. I have not used the smaller one since I got the brick.
