Gospel singer Donnie McClurkin has announced his engagement to singer Nicole Mullen. Donnie has shared his past gay lifestyle with the world so some are surprised that he's marrying a woman.

Donnie McClurkin has been very open about his struggles, he was as a child molested by a close relative which sent him into a lifetime of confusion. Good for him! He was delivered by God and not everyone will understand that. We live in a society that thinks that gay is not a choice, but really it is. Sin is always a choice, and if you want to be delivered/healed then you can be. None believers don't get it, without The Holy Spirit, these things can't be comprehended. God bless🤓

If they marry and carry out their marriage with loyalty to one another there really is nothing to to discuss. At all. Even if Donnie had homosexual attraction in the past... even if he experiences them present day, and into the future... it really does not matter if (1) he is voluntarily choosing to marry this woman, and (2) they both honor their vows to stay true to one another. A straight single man may choose to engage in premarital sex. That is his choice. A straight single man may choose to abstain from sex. That is his choice. A straight married man may choose to be faithful to his wife. That is his choice. A straight married man may choose to engage in adulterous sex. That is his choice. A gay man may choose to be in a gay relationship. That is his choice. A gay man may choose to marry a woman. That is his choice. A gay man may choose to live his in singleness. That is also his choice. A gay man married to a woman may choose to engage in adulterous homosexual sex. That is his choice. To me sexual orientation is but one piece to the puzzle. What we as adults CHOOSE to do is what matters.

I have a friend who was married and het husband engaged in a homosexual relationship. When she found it she fell apart and she was in mental shambles. Took her along time to overcome from that. Great video. Personally I don't care about his past, who he slept with, whether he's straight, bi or gay; all of that is between him, God and his fiance. I think it's a blessing when someone finds love and chooses to take an honoring vow such as marriage. Their past is their past, not for us to judge him. Everybody has something in their life they've had to grow out of, John 8:7 reminds of that. I am happy and blessed for pastor Donnie and Nicole. If anyone be in Christ, he is a new person, old things are passed away, and all things become new. 2 Cor. 5: 17. We cannot allow the past to dictate our future. Know ones judging them from all the comments I've read so far. And for your information, the only judgment we are to reframe from is Hypocritical Judgement. Judging others for their sin and we're doing the same things. We're storing up for ourselves wrath on the day of Judgment. Read Roman's Chapter 2 all the way through. Other then that, I have to judge the Word of God to be sure it's coming forth in the power of the Holy Spirit. I have to Judge PROPHECY. I have to judge so called Words from So called Prophets. I have to judge false brother making their way to my Ministry. Let every word be established on the mouth of 2 or 3 Prophets. After one finish let the other Judge that Word. I have to judge to be sure my son is not hanging around bad company. However know one is Judging them. We all wish them well. I seen nothing but positive comments wishes them well.

Updated info; according to Nicole she stated they dated, however SHE NICOLE MULLENS. Although "they were NEVER engaged!!" Here in 2022 Nicole was 1st marriage ended in violence and he died. I'm so tired of people saying what God cannot and will not do. God can do what He wants to through anyone as long as they have the faith to believe. STOP PUTING GOD IN A BOX!!! Scripture is full of people who were in sin or perceived to be in sin to carry out the will of God. Please take time to study the Word of God for yourself and stop going off of hearsay. Regardless of what you've been told, you don't know people's personal relationship with God especially if you have never been around them and actually know them. Even the ones you think you know can and will fool you if you aren't operating in the gift of discernment. Yes the Word say you will know a tree by the fruit it bears, but if all you see is what is being presented on TV, you yourself are being deceived. Nit-picking in people's lives is one of the greatest problems that plagues the church today. Focus on your own life and walk with God before you try and focus on someone else's. I can guarantee that your life, both public and private, is not perfectly in line with the will and Word of God. As the song so eloquently states, "Sweep around your own front door before you try and sweep around mine."

There have been too many testimonies that God will do a hook up for business partners, couples, and other opportunities. If there is proof that these people are living a certain way, it would have been out there. The evil media would love to destroy Christianity. Think on the things that are lovely, pure, good, and of a good report. It will help clean your heart. You know nothing for sure, and it is criminal to speculate without proof. I wonder why people are saying Pastor Donnie McClurkin was a homosexual/ gay when he was sexually assaulted by a male family member. That's really messed up! I have appreciated his anointed ministry of song & preaching for 2-3 decades, I haven't ever noticed anything gay about Donnie. And I do discern different types of spirits. The spirit of homosexuality is very bold & I get a sense of negative radar when 1 of them come in n my presence. Therefore, IF Pastor Donnie did live a homosexual lifestyle--I truly do believe that GOD (in His infinite wisdom) has forgiven Pastor Donnie McClurkin.
I would like to first thank God for his mercy and grace toward Donnie and Nicole and for delivering and healing them of their past. I believe that their desire to get marry is a testimony of God's goodness and greatness. As powerful as we believe and know our God is, there is nothing impossible for him. May the goodness and mercy of the Lord continue to follow them for the rest of their lives and may he bless and bestow upon them all that he has in store for them together, as they continue on the road he has set before them.

When you marry, it is forever so I don't understand people who divorce and remarry. We have the right to divorce only on the grounds of adultery or if the other partner is an unbeliever and not ready to be a Christian (1corinthians chapter 7).As Christians we have the Bible as our guide and any lifestyle which is contrary to what the Bible prescribe is sin.
