I was born with a bad heart condition and needed a transplant two years ago. I've always felt like shit because someone had to die to supply a better life for me. But I've started to see what that person was thinking when I hear this song. It's going beyond having a use after you die. It's feeling compassion for someone whose time is almost over, enough that you would willingly let yourself be divided and given to people so they have a shot at a better life. It's like sharing a piece of yourself to provide health and comfort to someone and everyone who knows them. It's like, even though you are gone, a part of you still lives on and helps another person live.

Thank you! That's basically my reason why I became an organ donor. Apparently I can help up to 8 people! If I can help someone even after I die, I don't think its a life wasted, and even if I don't live a fulfilling life, it will still be meaningful because someone will live and have the chance to have more experiences and fulfill whatever they want to do with their life. Also, I heard that sometimes people who get transplanted with the donor's organs especially their heart, and intestines can get some traits of the donor (personality/interests/preferred food). Have you had an experience something like that? If its okay to ask. Thank you! :) Have a wonderful life!

This song reminds me of a friend who recently passed away. He donated all his organs, I sang this song for my school's talent show too. standing ovation, and some were crying, even me. Juby, I thank you for this, on behalf of my friend. He was also very young, and many knew him. I don't want this to turn into a eulogy, I just wanted to thank you Juby

Omg... This made me cry... I love this song.. I couldn't stop thinking of my grandmother. When she died she donated her eyes for a little girl. My grandmother was a doctor and this song embodies her I feel. I want to meet that little girl one day and look into my grandmothers eyes. She lives on in the lives of others. I can't stop crying.. well, considering this song is about giving organs to another person to live, once your either brain dead or dead. Literally this entire song is about an organ donor (if you dont know what that means, thats a person who has signed up for if they die or go brain dead they're giving their organs to people who need it.) The kidney is an organ so that would be why. Its not just cause its a vocaloid song.

Being an organ donor genuinely makes me feel happy. Even if I don't do much with my life, even if I live a pretty useless life, with no impact on others, at least I can help other people when I die. I'm not worthless ^-^

I have an idea about this song. The topic of breathing comes up a lot, because "nothing means a thing if you can't breathe" is sung after every repetition of the chorus. And then she sings "Turning back into the room they split you in two Anything I'd give, that were me and not you", I'm thinking that her loved one went under some surgery of some sort because of a lung issue. And now she's giving away her organs in her loved one's memory.

I've been meaning to register to be an organ donor for a while, but I've always been put off while researching it. I want to help people if I can, but thinking about your own death isn't exactly an enjoyable way to spend your time. I found this song a few days ago, and it's forced me to think about it again. This song is beautiful, not just vocals and instrumentation, because of the meaning. I don't think people consider the gift of donating your organs after you no longer need them as much as they should. After you've left this world, why let your perfectly good organs go to waste? I'm leaving a note in my wallet in case of my death/an accident where I have no options left. It states that if there are no options left for me, please donate my organs. Save someone's life. It's on my license, but I want to make sure. Just in case my family can't be contacted or I'm missing my license. Because that'd be such a waste. These lyrics on are the other side of the note.

I'm already a donor but this song means so much to me. When I was little I fell of my bike and broke my arm. Found out the humorous was hollow because of a ruptured cyst we hadn't known about. That lead to many medical appointments and two surgeries (hopefully no more) and for one of them some cadaver bone was used. Donating really can and does change the lives of those still alive.

This song always reminds me of when I was in the hospital. I remember how willing my friends were to give me anything I needed, whether it was something simple like flowers or a stuffed animal or an organ or blood. I understand that this may not be the way that most people interpret this song, but the way I initially interpreted it in the lyrics was a little as follows. "It's all fine by me, it's all fine by me Living in a world without you, I would rather be... It's all fine by me, it's all fine by me Nothing means a thing if you can't breathe" "Maybe if time could return me to you Turning back into the room they split you in two Anything I'd give, that were me and not you" "All I wanted was to be the one you never leave It's all fine by me, I don't really need Nothing means a thing if you can't breathe" I heard this as singing to like, someone you love a lot having died, and also singing to the people who rely on donors as well. Because, you don't want to live in a world without them in where they have passed away, and you're singing to them because you miss them. You not only wish you could turn back time to take their place in terms of having death taken you and not them because you loved them that much that you'd sacrifice yourself for them, but you also want to just be able to help others where you couldn't help the person you loved the most. Maybe, maybe then... maybe then, perhaps, you could meet that special person again. It's a stretch, but that might have been a thought. The value on your organs as you're essentially dead already, you figure, "let me save someone else that I can save now and in a way I'll still live on" and yet "if I died and did this, perhaps I could one day see them again, or somehow be closer to them". Idk. I just kind of took both interpretations and they just hit me at the same time. After all, she does say "nothing means a thing if you can't breathe," so maybe that's an example of nihilism in the song? Literally, "nothing matters if you aren't breathing" so that "nothing matters if the one you love isn't breathing" which pretty much makes sense by how little value she seems to put on her life but how much value she puts on the idea of saving someone else's life by putting lots of value on her organs having the ability to help others who need them. It made me cry, though, because without the person(s) that mean the most to me in the world, I would feel the same way, honestly. Just... do it. At that point, I have no reason to not do it. It's like being selfish and selfless at the same time. So selfish that you become selfless, and so selfless that you become selfish... that sounds kinda silly, doesn't it? But doesn't it make sense?

My dad seems unhappy when I keep on listening to Japanese songs sometimes, he thinks that some of them has a bad influence for me and he wants me to listen to Christian songs instead... Well I don't mind but I'll try to make him listen to this song which actually made me want to donor my organs when I die and it's a really good thing

This song always reminds me of people who 'want to be donors but don't have the time'. The process literally takes less than five minutes. You are trading five minutes of your time for someone else's years. Hell, ten, twenty, thirty, maybe even just one or maybe ninety years. And yet you can't spare five minutes for someone, whether it's a child who's family wants more time with them cause it's not their time to go or an elderly woman who could have ten, twenty more years with her grandchildren.
