I have the same problem with the faucet not shutting off. I have my garden hose attached in order to keep the water from pooling and getting into my basement. I removed the sprayer attachment and pulled the hose over to my young fruit tree for a deep watering about 20 feet away from the home. Years ago I had the galvanized pipe replaced with the white plastic pipe. The guys I hired to replace the main pipe were dopes. The pipe was attached to my sprinkler line...I think. As the days went by, the soil and lawn were constantly saturated around the new pipe. I don’t recall who fixed the leak but that WHITE pipe is still there only it has an old galvanized pipe attached to it with a worm gear clamp in order to stop the pipe from flexing and bending whilst the 100’ garden hose is being pulled around the yard. I checked it tonite and it is able to wiggle again. So much for a Micky Mouse repair!!
This happened to me today and I had to shut off the water from the inside line. Now I know how to fix it. Hopefully, it will be as easy as it looks! Thanks.
Jason, I just want to thank you for this video. My kiddo turned the spigot on outside and we could not turn it off. We don’t have any idea how to fix things like this. Thanks to your video, we got it turned off!
You gave two option. First option being turn off you water and fix the problem. Second option, if you can't turn the water off, or don't know how then.... then what?
I turned the water off and now it only partially turned on and keeps turning to the left and won't stop or turn the water on all the way. What do I do?
My spigot is not shutting off today, just keeps turning but won't close, due to stripped parts or something after years of use. Can I simply replace internal parts without replace the whole thing?
Mine wasn't shutting off as well today 😭 what I did was take off the spigot and the rubber inside was torn in half so what I'm going to do now is go buy another one of those rubber things 👍
Here where i live it leaking water and they never fixed it :/ someone put a wire around it lol so it not leaking so bad but my apartment never fix 3d it
