I’m thinking she died and it caused her mom a lot of mental trauma, so her dad decided to bring her back in some form of robot or cyborg. He probably programmed her to “be with mother” all the time because that’s what most kids do. It probably made things worse to mother, because every time she saw the robot, she couldn’t get past the fact that it isn’t actually her little girl. Father is probably determined to bring his daughter back the best he can, but mother just wants to grieve

For those who are confused on the story here’s a quick summary Two parents had a daughter who was really rebellious and did not listen to her parents and one day died through means not told. The two parents, devastated, attempt to bring her back to life but she listens too much and well which for some reason makes them upset so they kill her every time she listens without even questioning it and then the game starts where after one cycle she completely rebels against the rules which symbolizes there daughter’s return and the father give her a name, liana

I think the reason you had to play three times is that they transferred the girl's core which held the memories while they disposed of all the past bodies of you, so your character started to remember going through the same scenario again and decided to change it

My theory : at the start of the game they talked about surgery from the hospital and once they arrive the dad says “ you better hurry before you get soaked which is likely cause it’s a robot and if it gets wet the whole thing gets fried and we carry a big box that is quite heavy it’s fully of parts from the other one while the new core has its memory erased so it doesn’t get a control of me

Whoever made this should really make a second game to this. Like, the robot who got their own objective, with their new name and everything. I feel the second game would be filled with new things, the "daughter"/"robot" helping the father, finally getting to see who the father is, the father helping the "robot" with new looks, look more human, etc.

This is my theory: On sunday evening the mother is not present, most likely dealing with the previous liana, the reason why the box is empty is because i assume that they put lianas body in the box, that is why it is heavy. then the father puts in a NEW core and the game restarts

I’ve watched this video so many times but it’s always as fun as the first time

So, I think that Mother is trying to remove (the real)Liana's core from the robot body. That's why Mother(at least I think it was Mother) compared us to the cored apples. I think that she thinks Liana's core is unsafe inside the robot body because the robot(aka, us as the player) are starting to have a mind of its(our) own Edit: Not sure if I pointed out the obvious but I just wanted to get that out of my chest Edit2: I also think that Sunday is just a loop since at (well roughly at) 1:00:00 puts you back at the start. So maybe the robot has already gone through the same experiences as we did(as the player)

If you can, may we please get a part 2 because this is the best series I’ve seen so far!

So this is my theory halfway through the video: the daughter died so they took her brain and put in a robot that was made to look like the daughter and told her she just went away for a while or had an “operation”

Theory: so I think that we/Liana died so her father made a new body for her and put her body or core in this new body but this new body wants these objectives because this body is a robot the purpose of this robot is to be the same as Liana but that seems to not be working out because this robot doesn’t have enough personality to be even close to Liana. This is why in the cemetery we see Lianas grave and because we are playing as Liana we are also the angel, Lianas angel feels bad for this robot who is basically going from loved to hated within the matter of a night. Yep that my theory 👏👏

What the father mean for when she came back from her surgery, he meant they took her brain like, extracted it from real liana,nor her dead body and then put it in a artificial body or a robot since the mother couldn’t let go. The “liana” didn’t want a core task, and felt like they were different or home just felt different, so the “liana” was angry and tries to kill her “mother”

The Babadook shook me. I was 10 years old and even in the daylight where i felt safer i was shaking. I got halfway through the movie when i watched it at night and had to turn it off. I was usually unphased by horror movies and stuff but it terrified me. Something about the drawings. And its terrifying because stuff like that can happen in real life like hallucinations and its terrible. Overall very good and terrifying.

Bro.. This legit made me cry. This, for some reason, reminded me of another game I played. I forget what it was called but, it was about a woman. She had dementia. And basically you go around your house trying to remember things and trying to complete tasks. She has a bf/husband. (I'm not sure I dont remember.) She would call out to him again and again and, again. Eventually, she remembers. He died in a car crash. So she took her life. It made me cry so much but good video fusion :D you make my day brighter then ever. (I might be mistaken in some of the details but it was sadd)

My beliefs are that the daughter died and the father mad a robot replacement, and the robot uses mother to pass the time. That angel in the graveyard brought her soul back alive, but she cannot speak. Later kn the mother can't go on anymore and kills the daughter

This is probably the craziest game I've ever watched you play I was just as mesmerized as you were the whole time the moment the mother said I probably appear just as unnatural to you as you appear to me it sent a shiver down my spine.

my theory is the this is a paradox and you are in a digital world that the mother created as a ideal world because you died in the real world (possibly the brother and/or the farther also died) so she found a way to transfer your core into a digital world so she could be with her family again but she doesn’t want you to find out that you died as that would break the digital world because knowing that you aren’t real and that this isn’t the true world and why she doesn’t want to go into the barn instead because it’s glitched because it’s where the world was created and is the place where the paradox core is so that’s why it restarts the game after you go into it and why mother tries to stop you from walking into the paradox core. The dad driving you to the house is the beginning of the time loop paradox and no one except you keeps their memories from the past loop. At the end of the game you finally stop the time loop paradox and go back to the real world after defeating mother. that is also why there is barriers that you cannot see beside the road as you can only stay in the house grounds so there is no risk of you dying. That is my theory for the story. also you cannot see yourself because you are not real.
