@@fenrix155 can confirm. We had one a few towns over that they shut down (Cranberry, PA). I'm saddened by it. The best krispy kreme is a FRESH krispy kreme.
@@yoo8471 facts i was telling myself they ova here worried bout donuts and there's ppl taking advantage to do crime without any consequences bc there's noone to stop them cuz they Savin the donut truck lol.
It was never a stereotype LMFAOOOOOO there’s 3 things that you’ll see in a police HQ. Donuts, Coffee, and food like mini burgers or chicken bites. Like it never fails
Fun fact! The reason why cops are stereotyped to love donuts is that some of the few restaurants open 24h back in the day were coffee and donut shops, so they went there often to keep themselves caffeinated, and they would often take a donut as well as a treat or if they were hungry
@@l4rs047 Besides that, 24/7 food businesses like donut shops, diners and fast food chains are often target for local street crimes that wants to have quick buck, their evil activities are usually at midnight and early mornings, thus the constant headache and safety concerns for the staff and customers. Cops being around brands a food shop as "cop protected" and local criminals would be weary and scared of causing trouble in areas frequented by cops. A trade off that business owners dont mind is giving cops free coffee and food when they ask it, that includes free donuts at donut shops.
"Once we confirmed no one was in there," the biggest concern came to the fore: "How are we going to save these donuts?" If the truck's graphics had burned off, passersby probably couldn't understand why the National Guard had been deployed, along with a 3-alarm fire department response, just for a small truck fire.
The cop and doughnut thing is good humour, it's not negative! They too need to chill and enjoy like everyone else! When I was working I used to have tea many times!
I feel happy everytime I see good news about cops. Nowadays there are just too much incidents where they do something wrong. My dad was a cop back in '97-2016 and he always told me not all of them cops are perfect.
Dispatch: "We have an active shooter at the Walmart off of 38th street" Police sergeant: "Ok I'll go check it out" Dispatch: "We have a fire... seems to be a Krispy Kreme truck" Sergeant: "ALL UNITS RESPOND! REPEAT! ALL UNITS RESPOND!!" Cop: "10-4! Already en route sarg!"

Couldn't they just offer her a donut? "In other news," Delivery driver pays for ticket with donuts! Judge gladly accepts and gives one to the officer on the citation!! (No! JK! Made this up!)
I used to work in a police station in Los Angeles. One day I came in with donuts and one of the more “voluptuous” officers grabbed a glazed donut and was utterly delighted because it was glazed on both sides, not just on the top. Leave it to a fat cop to be a donut connoisseur 🤣 🍩.
