The creamy colour of that sketchbook paper looks so good with the ink 😊 now I want to know what was wrong with the chips! In the UK chips that come with fish and chips are very different from french fries.

It may have been as simple as my preference for thin fries over thick ones. But the ultimate fries seems like poutine 🤤 - which I've yet to experience.

From my own experience when with my Japanese relatives we all learned NEVER to take the last of anything. If there is a piece of cake, you'd be amazed how many times a food item could be cut in half so you weren't the greedy, selfish one who took the last part. LOL I am just relieved I didn't hit send 5 times like a monkey on crack to send multiple posts this time around. I do try to do my part in contributing to the channel, but spamming the same post over and over wasn't part of the plan I swear. I have to confess. I have a sizeable notebook/sketchbook collection in a cabinet in the garage. Even though I have every expectation of living in to my late 90's like my mom and all my grandparents, I am pretty sure I will never be able to fill them all. I do love the ink colors you used. Have you tried crumpets? I have always liked English muffins, but crumpets really took me in!

Some years ago, we went to The Crumpet Shop at Pike Place Market. It's a cramped narrow place, with only a few tables, but it was a fun experience. I think we had the lemon curd/ricotta, and the pesto/tomato/parmesan crumpets. It was all yummy and I'd love to go again to try other combinations. If you ever get to Napa California, go to The Model Bakery because - I kid you not - their English Muffin is the best ever. So soft and fluffy! Notebooks are incredibly tempting and I feel the pull, for sure. 😅
