I could not understand what you mean. 4 bfg cells aren't enough to beat the cyber demon in literal terms, I have recorded a video shooting the cyber demon with the BFG with 3 shots due to having full ammo and then shooting at it the 4th time with an acquired cell in the cyber demon arena. The BFG does very little damage to bosses in doom 2016: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ybsaREV215g.html The demons to get stunned though.
Honestly now that i played both games multiple times doom 2016 was better in terms of the mood it set, the atmosphere, the demon designs, and the level layout while doom eternal definitely did better in terms of combat, mobility, soundtrack, and demon quantity
And all fairness there was an energy crisis on earth so without the Argent energy in this universe, humidity would fall in anarchy end up having an extinction event so it’s kind of either. I continue studying all this to make more energy for humanity so they don’t die out faster or don’t do it because of the hell invasion so it’s kind of like a lose lose situation either or he made it. He’s going to suffer a damn near extinction event. If nothing is done, I’m not defending his decision. I would’ve totally stood by doom slayer side on this one because it’s never worth watching another demonic invasion happen. Just saw that way people don’t have an energy crisis but at the same time you can’t have a civilization that doesn’t have any energy dependence
@@thomascox3213 while you do make an excellent point, I'm just thinking about the entire story but I do not want to spoil it incase you haven't seen it (referencing doom eternal lore and ancient gods dlc)
@@blizzardfog9501 How? That doesn't even make sense. How come you don't see a single Marauder in Doom 2016? Or, better, a Baron of Hell (as of the Eternal kind), since those CANONICALLY evolved to have their skin made of obsidian?
I think Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal are both masterpiece, maybe Eternal it's better, but there's just one thing on the first one i like more than the second one: it's horror aesthetic. Eternal was an "operation nostalgia", where some of the demons seems like puppets, when the first had this scary bloody demons that i think it's perfect for a Doom game. When you see for the first time the Cyberdemon you say "yeah let's dance!"
Look, we can argue all day about which one's better but there's one thing we can all agree on. The HUD in 2016 is infinitely better than the one in Eternal.
The graphics are much better as compared to doom eternal and this game has more substance. The gameplay of Eternal is way better but this game's monsters were so well designed. Other than the dash ability the speed of both games is the same. Eternal is just a bit more difficult. Doom 2016 is a very very likable game with a much better story. Playing this now and recording the walkthroughs this time around. Don't get me wrong, doom eternal is the best there is overall but a bit cartoonish as compared to this : )
@@quartzskull8772 Dark Lord sucked. Only good bosses in Eternal were Icon of Sin and Khan Makyr and Marauder maybe, but that one's lessened since he becomes a common enemy later on.
Think of it like this Doom 2016 is the "Reintroduction" piece, it revived the series from, basically the ground up, uniting the fans and letting the newer generations have a shot at playing it, while Doom eternal is focused more around creating a sense of nostalgia for the old players and Crisp, fast gameplay for the Veteran players who like thr challenge
Насколько же охуенен был DOOM 2016. Никакой радуги и прочих вольностей. Брутальный, бескомпромиссный визуально и тематически, настоящий BADASS. Eternal по сравнению с ним - Mario kart
