You're not wrong about the racing and driving connotations though. I honestly can't listen to it while driving, or else I end up finding myself speeding.

@@tikoblocks3224 Hmm... Depends. Doom Slayer/Doom 16 Guy? Not as fast as normal half-life 2 behop. Classic Doomguy? Close to half-life 2 bhopping but probably slightly faster. Definitely Doomguy is faster if Strafe-Running. Classic Doomguy SR50 and Wall Running? Faster than normal HL2 Bhopping but probably HL2 reverse bhopping is faster. This is what I got from eyeballing the movement though. I may or may not be wrong.

Titanfall 2 has the only movement that is able to keep up with doomguy

Given how fast people can get through Hangar (aka E1M1) this could be possible for episode one (Knee Deep in the Dead) if all the maps were as simple as Hangar, but they aren't. Given the complexity and size of the maps, even if they were to only run through without killing or getting items it would still be impossible due to having to run around getting key cards, finding the right doors to go through and just finding your way around in general, the in-game maps aren't much use either due to the basic layout of red and yellow lines criss-crossing all over the screen. So while it would he pretty epic, there's just no way to do it
