It has come to my attantion that RU-vid has put ads on this video, which really pisses me off. As soon as I can I'll remove the ads from this video once I find out how I uploaded a new video with the shotgun sound in it, it's in the description if you want to see it, I tried my best
Normal People: " *The Earth Is Round* " Stupid people: " *The earth Is flat* " Halo Players:" *The earth is a Ring* " Doom Players:" *the Earth Is a hell* "
If you think about it, Doomslayer fights in addition to hell and demons the heaven, angels and gods, and is giving them exactly the treatment they deserve, making him the opposite of christianity.
@@namethefifth7315 Oh, right, but the demons he fight are exactly as described in the bible tho, right? Wait no, they’re not at all biblical. If you think about it, christianity has nothing to do with the game, and it’s way better that way.
@@cheesynacho8464 Musta been different than the Christians I grew up around and lived around for the last 35 years of my life. They feared the Devil and his legions, and the corruption they brought to life.
I still get goosebumps from listening to this. Holy shit Mick Gordon did a phenomenal job with this, he will be missed. (not saying David and Andrew are bad musicians, they are amazing as well. I'm excited to see what they do for the next Doom game)
@@Eclipse-kv1os yes I played tag 2, it's not very clear about it. All it shows is the Slayer being but back in the sarcophagus after killing the dark lord. Though you still hear his heart beating so it's not clear on there being another game. I'd assume so but again, I'm not sure
@C0lorman he's not doing Doom's music, the sound track for Doom eternal was made by several people not just Mick, so done bits of the sound track are his work while the others are from Bethesda's music designers. Both of the dlcs were made by 2 different people, David Levy and Andrew Hulshult (not sure if I spelt it correctly but it's how I think it is)
0:31 "...and you will be their savior, your strength will be their shield and your will... their sword. You remain... unbroken... for your fight... is eternal."
Master Hand: “Against all the evil that Dharkon can conjure, all the wickedness that Galeem can produce, we will send unto them... only you. Rip and tear, until it is done.”
"As you walk away from the dead corpse from the Icon of Sin, leaving a blood trail behind. The sky changes color And the rest of the Demons, who were lucky to be left alive rush through the Hell portal. You think: *Will they ever learn their lesson?* , and go to rest. You shall be prepared, for the next time you meet eachother. Rip. And. Tear."
I swear, this game is always going to be my favorite for as long as I live, from the original to The Ancient Gods, this game series has been the most epic experience in gaming that i will ever have.
Right when he goes to hell to kill the guy who killed the demon who killed daisy only to realize he was the guy who killed the demon that killed daisy and came to the conclusion that killing himself would be a wast of time considering he is already in hell
"We must pray now brothers, pray that he is watching... ...for it is he that they fear, not man, or his armies... ...they fear the mark of the beast" -street prophet in the opening cutscene
The build up to the theme itself gives me a feeling of pure excitement, but imagine, since it’s partially canon that the Slayer actually emits the music you hear in the game, you are a demon destroying stuff and slaughtering every human that comes across your eyesight, when all of a sudden in the distance you hear it. A sound not unlike a cannon going off, and the faint sound of guitars building up. And you know then and there that your time is up. For the only thing your kind fears is here, and he Carrie’s a steel barreled sword of vengeance for all of the human blood you spilt. And more importantly you know you can’t fight back, but you also cannot run. That is what makes this song so good. It brings excitement to us, the player, but it’s a double edged sword, for anyone who is not on your side that hears this will know just how little time they have left
I bought this game IMMEDIATELY after finishing 2016. Yeah, I know I’m late to the party, but I wanted to finish all the other ones first. Anyway, this song, man. I was so hyped I had this huge stupid grin on my face, and once I spawned in I said “I’m baaaaack!” with the most ecstatic laugh of malice and pure childlike wonder
@@im_worried7189 Oh man it’s loads of fun, took some getting used to, but I like the amped up difficulty! Planning on playing Ancient Gods too, I loved Dusk, so getting to hear one of the composers of that game is gonna be a treat
@@SerialCommenter I prefer mick Gordon because it feels more melodic. But ancient gods is sick. Good luck, it gets more challenging. But the dlcs are worth it
_"I'm willing to take full responsibility for the horrible events of the last 24 hours, but _*_you must understand..._*_ our interest in their world was _*_purely for the betterment of mankind._*_ Everything has clearly gotten out of hand... _*_but it was worth the risk._*_ I assure you."_
