Yeah it's pretty tough to beat the slayer as the demons. If you or your teammate are just a bit too bad at battlemode it's gg already. I do prefer playing Arch-Vile, it has fun abilities to use which open up a lot of possibilities for different tactics to use to beat the slayer player.
@@TheMBmulti wel i havent played doom2 personally but for a multiplayer perspective that would be abit OP and ppl asking or nerfs liek for the marauder wich is in a good place rn in my oppinion btw what would u think if the doom hunter would be a playable character in battlemode?
Well the attack isn't as op as it sounds because you can avoid it by breaking line of sight, then you won't recieve any damage. So you could do the same as the Revenant rocket barrage, where the Arch-Vile is stationary for a while (just like the original game) which makes him vulnerable, but if you manage to connect the attack it deals massive damage (high risk, high reward kind of thing you know). As for a playable Doomhunter, would be quite funny. Maybe they could make it so that when it still has its sled, it can tank a lot of damage with its shield, but at half hp you loose the sled and whenever you respawn you won't have it back until the next round. Making it a kind of tank class, but with a vulnerable side to it especially once the sled is gone.
@@TheMBmulti as for rhe arch vile that would be good but when you miss as a arch the cooldown needs to be short and for the doom hunter i have a moveset already Primary fires a rocket out of his arm Ability one fires those missilesblike revenant Ability two he gains his shield forblike 10 secs like pain elemental And maybe for his secondairy attack maybe his chainsaw attack?
