He became a Sentinel. At that point he stopped caring about anything else but killing demons and their allies. Also Khan has a bad track record of betrayals, just for the sake of her survival.

@@CesarinPillinGaming Or maybe he was actually the Dark Lord all along, and nobody knew before it was too late. I don't trust the guy one bit, and even if he was giving us the right info, he's probably only revealing the facts he wants the slayer to know before he enacts his grand plan on turning the universe into an endless chaotic mess. Not fooled the first time in DOOM 2016, not being fooled again in Eternal. Hayden the Seraphim is up to something, and it's not good.

@@baldwalrus354 good idea, a fallen angel kicked out of heaven for stealing the father. Sounds pretty analog to the story of Lucifer after being kicked from heaven and corrupt humanity with the poison apple ( Fits Hayden corrupting not only humanity but heaven with the argent)

Also, another name of the Slayer is "The Beast", which if we go into biblical reference is the ultimate creation of Satan, so powerful that not even the Arch Angels of heaven can defeat it which forces god himself to intervene, thus throwing it into the lake of Fire. At the end of Revelations, Satan isn't destroyed nor is he weakened, says that he leaves Earth pitying mankind. So basically a major cosmic reset (Christian version of Ragnarok). We know Samuel/Samur is the Seraphim, but I've ALWAYS felt that he's ALSO the Dark Lord of hell too! Cause in Doom 2016, there's a saying/prophecy/Codex statement saying that the Demonic Crucible can be wielded by many but can ONLY be activated by a god(s) or king(s) of hell itself an none other and are unaffected by its corruption. Samuel had the democratic crucible for YEARS and wasn't corrupted, Knew how to both wield & ACTIVATE it, understood its power and how to replicate/synthesis it. The Mysterious voice was probably Vega/The Father after gaining consciousness. Think about it: Argent D'Nur is destroyed Heaven/Paradise/Urdak is no longer under the Sealed Protection and can be consumed by hell, but Heaven/Urdak STILL cannot enter into hell, All Makyrs are now corrupted due to the Icon of Sin and thus are now under the command of Hell. Hell's armies have been greatly strengthened by both bodies, souls, blood and technology (Maykr technology), Hayden now is fully interfaced with the Doom-ship, which is of Maykr tech and Grant's him VAST Knowledge of Unseen, Unvisited worlds within the COSMOS and ALL previous knowledge that Vega had before being reconnected back to Urdak. It's the greatest scheme AND anyone and everyone with the exception of the Slayer, that actually HELPED to achieve this, was Slaughtered so that can never tell of what took place. This seems far too well planned, and me having a god complex that verges on Good/Evil Chaos....this is something I would've done. Everything that was done was...NECESSARY Evil, but everything committed literally forces 1 person into becoming the Brand New God of the cosmos....Hayden/Samur/Samael/Seraphim (look up what what Angel is a Seraphim...far more powerful than even the 7 archs and are imbued with Gods own power). Samur is probably the Dark Lord, but he's doing a MAJOR reset, he's attempting to become the New God. "If it was under better...management"

I think it's the collective minds of all the Maykrs lamenting their doom.

The mysterious voice is vega or the father. He is the god of the maykrs and his essence was stolen by the seraphim (samuel hayden). When he returns to urdak for opening the portal to earth. But when vega enters the system of urdak he remembers his past with maykrs. When khan mayor dies he becomes angry because the leader of creatures he created gets killed. And if you realise after he enters the system his voice begins to change and that voice sounds like the mysterious voice that says no.
