What I really love about the doom slayer is he doesn't care who you are, you mess with humanity and he rips and tears the offender. It just so happens to be mostly demons that gain his ire.

And lost his fellow brothers-in-arms in battle after the betrayal. And he decided to avenge the innocence lost of Humanity to the machinations of Hell and the Maykrs, as well as continue his one-man crusade to slay all Evil, and serve burning vengeance for Argenta.
