Roboute Guilliman: Are we on schedule!? Vulkan: I like your hammer! Klador Drago: This does not seem fair.....for them! Yvraine: We seem to all be here Eldrad: Almost
Not only is this badass, it has a secret beauty to it. The Slayer was ready to face all his troubles alone. And even though he probably can, his friends still showed up to support him.
I feel the moral of the Doom franchise is: "If you see some really scary looking motherfucker with a cute pet, do not mess with that pet because it likely exists more for your benefit than the scary motherfucker's."
I love how when Valen walks through the portal, you can see the Slayer’s expression soften, like he’s realizing that Valen isn’t walking away from this fight.
@@mayasarah5648 not relieved...... ecstatic..... his brother has rekindled the flame of war and how he shall stand beside him to help end this war once and for all.
Valen never did, he was willing to go to the ill prepared suicide mission with the boys even though he knew perfectly well there ere going to be trapped. But he was cursed with immortality so he survived as long as the Slayer, fighting demons along the way too.
The director has confirmed that hells army wasn't going to fight the slayer, satan wanted a clean and honorable battle to the death, the hell's army was there to stop slayers buddies!
@@mrkrimsonj114 at least, and it was still a fight nonetheless and the Maykr as said by him that they stole his power. so we are fighting an underpowered dark lord.
The thing that I love about this cutscene is that if you actually look and watch the demons behavior they actually act like animals and demons like the imps crawling on the rocks and gargoyles perching on trees
They never did. Valen stated in Eternal that the Night Sentinels could not naturally defy the Khan Makyr and her Priests. But the Slayer is not one of them....
@@SoldierOfFate too bad the Khan and her priests died. Valen likely came back to them and notified them of the Khan's fall and rallied them to the Slayer once more.
@@SoldierOfFate The Night Sentinels could not defy the Khan Maykr? Well then what about the Civil War that a good chunk of the Sentinel Army followed the Doom Slayer to destroy the Maykrs. They defied the Khan so it's wrong to say that they're naturally incapable of rebellion.
I love how the doom slayer was totally prepared to rip and tear through 100s of demons, the dark lords elite guard, about 30-40 hell ships and the dark lord himself, alone. Just the fact he was going to do that and probably would've succeeded makes doom guy the most badass thing in all gaming/movies
For us we would think "This is doable but goddamnit it's gonna take for fucking ever" but then the sentinels with their Pacific Rim Mechas AND DRAGONS come to put aid and give us the most fucking gorgeous and spectacular skybox in gaming history
@@ilucasz no hes not dark lord was weakened when doom faught him in the cut scene dark lord literally says he doesnt even scale to his creations that hes beneath them and that hes a fallen god dark lord (prime) is multiversal, the dark lord doom faught is FAR below that man☠️🤦🏾♂️.
@@ZeraNex It's directly stated in the Codex that the Dark Lord wants to fight the slayer 1v1, in a specialized arena, in the center of his city. Also according do the Codex, the Dark Lord has predicted and manipulated events from his downfall and all the way through every DOOM game in order to reach this moment. So I think he expected the army.

@@MiguelHernandez-mb1eu I am sure you won't get the point without explanation. But it is actually pretty simple, kid: Trying to play down someone or outright insult and make fun of them on the bases of being better at a fucking worthless videogame is not only the piek of sadness but also shows a severe lack of character trait. If you have to characterize yourself by being good at a videogame, that is a pretty fucking low social status. ;) Hope that helped.
Fun fact: if you stay around the spawn for about 30 seconds, to the left of where you're looking when you spawn you can zoom in on a mech killing a Titan in battle. It's sick as fuck.
given that codex of the Sentinels, they reached out to worlds, and this is assuming they're facing some absurdly powerful races in those worlds, seeing as Argent D'Nur is a base for New Game + wildlife
@@stephenkenney8290 Enough to bring Hell to the very brink of extinction. No other civilization in Creation has ever accomplished that. Now, they're back to finish the job.
I still love the fact that Doom Slayer was 100% ready to fight the entire demon army on his own, as he's always done. But I also love how he accepted his brothers' help. Between this and the way he bowed before his king showed how much he respected the sentinels, and that his war against the demons is not only for the humans on earth, but also the night sentinels

@@shreshtajaiswal7415 Well, the canonical Slayer's power is when the best gamer speedruns the levels and destroys even the bonus demons. So, the demon army was there just for the Dark Lord's ego show-off before he gets to fight the Slayer himself.
Avengers Portal Scene: Emotional. A combined effort of ten years of films. Doom Eternal Portal Scene: Makes me want to lay siege to hell itself. Both are valid.
I love this cutscene. At the beginning the marauders were your enemy, NOW, they are your ally and fighting alongside you to kill and wipe out Hell. Also, Valen literally when you see him in the beginning of Doom Eternal when he gives you the battery, he comes back in order to regain his honor as a Sentinel and as a fellow Avenger. RIP AND TEAR! This was an awesome fitting end to this game.
Those aint marauders. There are different sentinels. True born and those that came from the arena. The shotgun users are the ones from the arena considering you can equip the same skin for Doomguy. Marauders have that armor as well, probably because true sentinels would never serve hell.
If I'm not mistaken I believe the marauders are the corrupted night sentinels who fought for the maykr in the sentinel Civil War of argent d'nur when they realized Khan Maykr was torturing the souls of their fallen brothers. They despise the slayer for becoming a night sentinel despite not being Argentan because he was just that beastmode.
Skid: Hai! Slayer: Why you kid have been here....? Pump, Daddy Dearest, Mommy Mearest, Keith, Pico, Whitty, Senpai and Tankman: *appears* Slayer: Nevermind, you and all these guys came come. Skid: Thank you! Come on, everybody, time to bring back Spooky Month!!!
When I saw the approaching Hells army I naturally thought "Oh this again; just another day.... just kill 'em all like before" but then that army arrived to assist. That was awesome and so unexpected. It's the first time you actually fought alongside anyone on the battlefield. They sure made it count. Really does feel like the end of all things!

When the Sentinel Mech came through the portal I actually went "OOOOOOOOH BABY" Theres just something about seeing the huge, slow-step walk thats so awesome
I don’t know why but the scene where the sentinels come through the portals and the music getting more intense still gives me goosebumps and makes my spine tingle. Because you can tell how much work they put into this final battle.
Best part is you never see if the Night Sentinels even survive this. While I'm sure they did, since the Dark Lord didn't get personally involved and were it not for the Betrayer they would not have lost the first war, the final fights happens far away from Immora, so we'll never know what the Night Sentinels wrote about this, or what the impact it has on Earth is.

I can't believe that I'll be fighting Hell with super Aliens. Oh well, this is for Daisy! Meanwhile... Davoth: I swear if he wants to end Hell just for a Bunny, I'll kill myself.
In my honest opinion, I think TAG should have been its own game, with its own team. Of course, it would have taken significantly longer to make, but if we could have had a trilogy of badassery on our hands, I'd be more than happy, and if we had a longer version of this, with enough time and enough lore to drive the badassery home, I'd be even happier.
Recently declassified Pictcast footage of the Lost Primarch, known as the Doomslayer, leading his recently reunited legion of space marines, the lost Legion of space marines known as the Angry Marines into battle against the forces of Chaos.
Let's be real here: Davoth knew that even that wasn't enough to stop the Doom Slayer from reaching him, even if it was a little debilitated. After all, Slayer and Davoth are basically the same person from different realities or the Slayer is a different incarnation of Davoth, but anyway, they have the same power level and if all demons serve Davoth by his might, so shall all fear the one who oposes him as an equal (even phisically equal in their case).
This entire scene gave me goosebumps that led into (in my opinion) a rather lackluster ending. While I didn't hate it, I just wished it was more than a chunky marauder you feel?
I get what you mean. I terms of mechanics Devoth wasnt much of a challenge or realy much different from Marauder fights but i think the whole presentation, feel and musical underscore made it a realy fun fight for me. Especially the last phase where he started summoning Pain elementals, tyrants, mancubus and barons. Also liked that he punished your mistakes by healing, even if it was just wasting time essencially
I love how the Slayer doesn't move a muscle in this scene & just stares through his enemies. For him, how many fellow warriors he has is irrelevant. He's gonna kill every one of those demonic mofos no matter what.
I love how the doomslayer is carrying the super shotgun the whole cutscene being badass, But right after the cutscenes ends it switches to minigun because out of ammo.
I was in a party with my friends when I witnessed this amazing scene and I lost it. First I thought it was going in the route of the Wolverine with one man staring down an army with that classic line, “That all the men you brought?” then the portals opened and it became Endgame and that’s when I lost it.
