Pretty old demo i decided to upload for fun.
Awesome introduction to the wad with it having almost 4k enemies but it's very short and just super enjoyable to play!
I'll probably upload more NoSp2 runs i did that were old and some that are new, so stay tuned!

Hey plats been watching your videos for sometime now, great stuff. Quick question: Ive been seeing footage of NoSp maps for awhile now, and ive been trying to get into more slaughtermaps. How beginner friendly would you say NoSps are and which should i start with? Granted im no doom god, but i can hold my fair share of doom difficulty (sunder, sunlust, swtw, stardate and even trying abandon now) Thanks and looking forward to your next work

Thank you very much! I'm glad you are enjoying. As for your question, NoSp2 is much easier than Sunder and Abandon so i'd say it's a pretty good begginer slaughter wad, tho there are some NoSp2 maps that are exceptions and can take a lot of grinding to finish

If you can handle these wads without having too much problem then I think you're already a pretty descent player right there :)

I've noticed that Cyberdemons are quite limited to their movement when it comes to small spaces. Take for example the Cyberdemon at 7:23 . It's literally turning all the time as it's possibly looking for a valid space to move onto. When you move closer to it, it then locks onto you for attack, but it's stuck in the confined space that it spawned onto. I've seen this behavior on several maps. The movement conditions for the Cyberdemon must be rectified as I think it's a bug.

It isn't, the game sets a number of steps between 1-14 before an attack, the step counter still going that's why they still attack, they just need a tiny bit of space. They only get stuck when they get attacked by a monster that is either out of range or not visible. Watch Decino's video called "Monster Paralysis Explained"

So basically, wethwr that Cyber was on that small space or not, the time he spends spinning around is the exact same time it would take for him to just walk on a normal floor before shooting. It looks janky but it's not a bug until infighting is going on.

I don't like how the maximum number of shells is an odd number because the super shotgun fires 2 shells at a time, so therefore the maximum number of shells should be an even number...

It's because that's the right amount of ammo, and turns to 150 when you grab the backpack. And in NoSP3 it's fixed to 150/300

Why do these maps always have forced, massive, severely damaging nukage runs? Is there a "Mapmaking for Arseholes" book I need to read?? 😂
