Brutal indeed, though the better you know the cards, the less brutal it becomes (I would imagine 😁).

I have Fallout but haven't played it yet - need to get to it!

Thank you for your kind words! I was not familiar with this Fallout game when creating Doom Pilgrim, in fact, I know only Mork Borg from modern games, haha, but I was sure this mechanic has already been used somewhere before as it is really good, so I would be surprised if no one came with it before. Glad to know now where it appeared - I even asked my friends who are familiar with lot of games if they by chance saw this mechanic anywhere before but no one mentioned any game... :)

@@lone_adventurer Do so, you will see a much similar game mechanic with the quest cards that lead you somewhere on the map.

@@waclawtraier1900 also magic the gathering the SKRY mechanic :) That is the same with the three cards. But I do not mean anything bad by it, it also happens to me when designing games and as long as you make a good game it is not important. And guess what? You did make a great game!
