It looks much more open eh? And a greater scope for the gameplay - with the dragons and mechs - makes me think that the gameplay will be ... less player-centric - if that makes any sense. Like in Doom Eternal, the player had a lot of control over the gameplay, and he would just be put in different environments. With this one, maybe there will be more sequences where the player has to engage in specific and restricted gameplay ... not totally sure if this is a good or bad sign though, I'm a little apprehensive But overall, it looks badass and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it

I totally get what you mean, and the less player sentric factor in the trailer has me a little worried as well. I think the small bits of action gameplay looks absolute sick, we need to see more, but it was enough to get me hyped :)

The best part is how the combat feels smoother, like i mean projectile interactions with enemies and such, it feels more like fighting actual humanoids than scraping up walking cement like it felt in doom eternal.

Wonder what the challenge will be to riding the dragon 🤷‍♂️ maybe it goes super fast u can’t slow down n ur only objective is to avoid being slammed. Would be cool if u shot some type of beams or whatever at enemies too

The riff playing in the trailer had my foot tapping and head bangin'! Watching the trailer, and especially because they showed the dragon riding, I'm getting some branching hub world vibes, or semi open world, like how they did with RAGE back in 2011. What do you think? Can id basically pull an Elden Ring and succeed?

Would've been nice if they were releasing it for us lowly PS4 owners. I know a lot of people who aren't in a position to spend 500+ dollars on the account of the outrageous inflation here in the states. I really think the ps4s hardware could have ran it.

Yeah I totally understand and agree with you. I think it all boils down to the projected amount of sales it would have on a platform and it seems like the last gen isn't projecting enough :(

That looks awesome. Like some of the newer borderlands games, but without the cartooney graphics and annoying npc's that don't shut up, haha. Glad to see Doom go in this direction, actually. It's much more interesting than just another shooter.

It looks nice I played Doom 2016 but not eternal the I am a Boomer shooter gamer the combat looks too much of a learning curve for me but Dark ages looks great

Never mind I tried Doom Eternal and I love it I just needed to watch it play a little bit the learning curve is not as hard as I though its amazing Happy gaming
