The art style looks super similar to Sundered. That was an awesome metroidvania which had 2 distinct and story influencing upgrade paths depending if you used technology or the arcane powers of the entity that talks to you.

If this game has multiple ways to powerup yourself to the final boss like Hollow Knight, this could have good speedrun vs hunters content.

The speedrun for this game will be insane

I'm glad other games are creating similar mechanics to ori's bash, probably one of my favorite moves in gaming because of the insane skill ceiling with it. I know it's not based off of ori, but I can't help but see the connection with the wispy style of the main character I will say that it's a bit hard to see the main chracter when zipping around, so maybe visibility is an issue.

In terms of gameplay this gives off aome heavy Dust:An Elysian Tail vibes

I think the accurate way to describe this game is, ori + doom, the seem to have done well balancing how powerful you feel while still making the game reasonably challenging at times

Reminds me of Sundered tbh. Though that might be because it's a metroidvania with a sentient artefact weapon.

The combat and the movility looks really good, it seems to be like a moba but in 2d or something weird like that. The only thing I didnt like is the art style, is too saturated with elements and each element is full of colors, is too overwhelming imo. It's like if you're on LSD or something like that. I think maybe a more restrained or elegant(?) color palette or even a different lighting approach would have done the trick. Ori does it pretty well in that regard without being too simple.

Again another metroidvania that is literally good game design on a freaking silver platter with good story and a sentient blade and the blade is called a doom blade just gives me complete doom references and memories when I was playing Doom 2016 and Doom eternal Good memories but still even saving is really cool your plunge The Doom blade right into the ground and that somehow saves and when you wheeled the dune blade the animation is literally you climbing up it and just grabbing it this is awesome
