Im havin issues. I install custom knight but i dont get the skins directory when i do. It only installs with a CustomKnight DLLA file. CustomKnight PDB file. And a CustomKnight microsoft edge document. I dunno what to do 😢

I love the new ruleset, but I think the charm notch limit could be increased to +3 or 4 for a more differential early game possibilities with charms and strats. Idk balance but I think it makes things a bit more balanced. (I am not an expert but would be fun)
I can finally see if I'm making some real damage to the nosk, half HP in a try only to see the skin I also download? that's great. I'm used to motivate myself with how much damage I did to the boss in souls like games, so this comes in handy

As a game developer I (sorta) understand what they mean, but their argument seems flawed for 2 reasons. Like you said the artists do seem talented enough to just make their own art. Second Team Cherry is SMALLER than their team and Hollow Knight may have not been their FIRST game ever made but if I recall correctly it was their third game? (don't quote me on that bit I'm too lazy to look it up). I do really think the combat has some potential, and if the game wasn't so OBVIOUSLY derivative from Hollow Knight we probably wouldn't notice the similarity in combat. I think the parry, repost, and dodge mechanics are great ideas for combat. Plus you would be surprised at how well a game can do with basic shapes and a little bit of post processing. I've made plenty of games where enemies were triangles and the player was just a square, and I made them glow a little bit and BOOM it looks like an intentional art style. If you are SO opposed to that, try to find assets on different sprite websites to use. Since it's a pre-alpha and all they can get away with mix-mash assets until they have a basic game and can focus on their own art. They don't NEED to have a great art style right of the get-go they could wait until AFTER a basic game loop and story is made then focus on the art to polish it up. In short these people are just lazy and trying to make you feel pity for them because "woe is me making original art is hard, not enough man power to do so".
Oh hey do you use controller? I hear a lot of people say it’s better to use keyboard and mouse, but I personally prefer controller. Is there a specific reason to use one over the other, or is it just preference? 🤔
After the kerfuffle that is the two Badim videos (I see, at the time of typing this) that one of them is taken down. It's nice/surreal to see a short that's just you goofing on Hollow Knight some, even if they are apparently older clips.
Honestly I expected Quirrel to have more of a Spanish accent, he never really struck me as a British guy. But nonetheless, ALL of this voice acting is exceptional!!! Especially Quirrel, he's my favorite character :D
