No idea why most of you guys call it doomscrolling. Your feeds are junk, not doom. Try getting geo located to Israel, Ukraine, Minyamar and say that again.
I don't think you understand what the term implies. It's not literal suffering it's just junk that makes you null and void, have memory gaps, and keeps you on your screen, letting time pass. I'm not sure what the point of your comment was or how it was relevant to first worlders being stupid with their technology
you'll always find something more horrible. Only that most is out of your control, opposing to the reconsideration of your own behavior. Doomscrolling as used here, refers not to the lack of quality content in someone's timeline, but to the never ending scrolling. Information so dense your brain is not capable of processing it all, so you barely learn anything and just feel worse than before. Thank you.
