The police talked to her and she didn’t say any kind of stuff Charles told them so it SEEMED she was just in a domestic dispute with her ex. The problem isn’t the police it’s the system and people who fight for people with mental health issues to have rights and it’s a blanket coverage so people who have psychotic delusions and make threats a lot of times they still get let go and are just put on medication while they’re threatening family and are not mentally stable to be on the street but the police cannot do anything about it unless there’s clearcut evidence and they physically see something being done. it can’t be A. he said she said type of situation which is too bad because Charles did need help but it’s not the fault of the police.

The police did what they could and recommended a mental health exam but he should have hired a lawyer and sued for custody and contacted children’s services. The police were not the answer.

It might have to do with the fact that the decision was made by a coroner and not a medical examiner. In order to be eligible to run for coroner in Idaho all you need is to be at least 21 years old, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the specific county for one year. If you win the election, you must complete annually at least eight hours of training. So yeah.... not surprised. Also, it is highly likely they were LDS which might have played a part in their not suspecting such an "upstanding" LDS author like Chad 🤢

She's not eligible for the death penalty in AZ as she's only charged with conspiracy to commit the murders, that's 25 to life. Also, I think (not sure 100%) that she has to serve her sentence in Idaho first and then (in a future probation 😆) be taken to AZ to serve the next sentence.
