There is something funny about the "Goblin Hewer" having high damage, armor piercing, bonus vs. large, and a low ammo count. Everything you explicitly _don't_ need against gobbos.

Many slayers met their glorious doom this day. A complete dwarf victory.

I cannot get over how badass the animation of those Doomseekers are when they swing their axes on chains. They're going full Kratos on those zombies.

Slayers are such an interesting concept. A natural product of Dwarven grudges. What happens when your grudge is against yourself? You seek death.

@9:55 It looked like Garagrim was taking damage much faster than the attack animations of his opponents. My guess is he was taking damage from his own vortex ability. Probably needs to have the friendly fire turned off 😂

Thanks for showing the actual missile strength breakdown on the Goblin Hewer. That's always such a silly stat because as far as it is concerned, a single shot that deals 3000 damage once every 10 seconds is the same thing as as 38 shots that deal 32 damage once every 4 seconds and it absolutely is not. Imo, missile strength should just show the damage per hit, then have a times something multiplier after the damage number if a unit fires a spread of shots and show reload time as a separate stat. So, you know, instead of Missile Strength: 3K it would be Missile Strength: 32 x38 Reload Time: 4 Seconds

Ungrim Ironfist is going to be a very fun campaign now with this new roster of Slayers.

Those RoR Doomseekers are experienced Vermintide II Slayers. You can tell with the glowing skins and need to viking dive into patrols of armored elites due to their Armor Piercing and Anti Infantry traits.

The Brotherhood of Grimnir gaining wardsave on killing enemies is actually a sign of Grimnir's disfavor that the slayers have failed to die.

Slayers are the coolest thing ever invented for Warhammer. The concept is just so badass. You know for a fact that any chaos horde would shit themselves if they saw a slayer army like this coming towards them. End times would have never happened if the fyreslayers showed up. Slayers are the supreme big peen boys. Dwarfs in general are just the best. Grombrindal and Gotrek could solo the entirety of the chaos wastes together. Grimnir could destroy khorne and khaine. Slayers are the best boys.

I could be wrong but it looked like garagrim was pushed over a little by the high mass crypt horror when he used the ability into the hit box of his own ability causing it to hit him as well. Was this reported to CA cause that theoretically would be a pretty easy to fix bug but kinda hard to notice.

I do love me a themed army. I'm glad that slayers can make it work, even if not completely optimal. It was down to the wire. There is something be said for fighting to the death no matter how bad you're losing.

That last Brotherhood of Grimnir slayer still fighting at 13:40 , dude was alive for a looooong time by himself, basically from 9:24 lol

At 9:54, I think the issue is that when Garagrim activated his Hurricane of Death, he also got pushed back by the Varghulf in that split second; you can see that the location of his model doesn't line up exactly with the effect of his ability. Thus, he got given two hitboxes because of that weird interaction, and only the vortex section was taking his stats properly, since you can see the moment they turn on the actual model and just outright delete him.

Watching that doomseeker spinning charge into the frontlines stirred something in me that ive not felt for a long time and i welcome it 😢

The doomseekers best use I have found is as flankers to other doomseekers. You have them move around the flank and rear charge and then once both are sandwiching a high value squad you activate their whirlwinds at the same time. When you pull it off it is super rewarding

Possibly a hot take, but slayer lords and heroes should get a skill OTHER than immortality at rank 20.

I feel like the cyclone ended up hitting him too, because he was pushed out of the AoE effect and was spinning next to the effect.

Whirlwind of death is basically a death sentence on single entities. Because the lose all their eye frames and easily bursted down. 9:53 is an example of it.

I’m hoping the rest of the models for the dwarfs getting that visual change that the slayers seem to have gotten. The bigger noses are the most noticeable difference

Unless the whirling death thing is some kind of weird hitbox bug, seems like CA once again fail to learn from previous mistakes. They just fixed the bastiladon's attack animation fucking it over by giving it immune to flanking, how hard would it have been to add flanking immunity to whirling death for the duration of the ability?

If you have at least 4 slayers lords in the same battle in campaign it should be possible to keep the "can't be killed ability" active permanently 👀

Slayers getting ward save from kills feels wrong. If anything, they should get increased damage, but also decreased ward save from kills, as they become increasingly satisfied with their contributions to the battle, and increasingly desperate for a glorious death.

I will say these doomseekers look way better and the new version of the axes make way more sense to me then the old version honestly really happy to see more slayers in the game atlast tho personally more a tech/engineer man but hey I got Elspeth.

Dwarfs vs undead yeah those poor undead indeed that's a definite diff matchup but also I think these lords will have no issues in an actual campaign

"generic" in regards to bloodline lords is a bit of a stretch they're about as "generic" as slann, greater daemons or daemon princes

Maybe the collision box is increased for the animation and he took a lot of burst damage. He should not have dropped that fast.

The dwarves have undoubtedly gotten the short end of the stick in the budget but the role-playing value of finally having all the slayer units is enormous.

Having just played a game as them, the VC desperately need an update of the same quality that humans and dwarfs just got. I’m sure they’re saving that for when they add Neferata & Nagash.

They should make the spin animation look better like look more viable not just them spinning in place maybe moving around a bit to make it more realistic

Man glorious death seems insanely good, im not saying its overpowered or anything, but basically having refuse to die on slayers could be game saving/changing in alot of matches i feel like, plus its so badass and thematic so bonus points for that

Daemon slayer lord not being AP majority seems weird to me when all other slayer characters are. Besides that you think a character that has defeated giants,dragons and possibly daemons would be one of the best fighters in the setting.
