Very helpful video. Most doorbell manufacturers recommend a 20VA or 30VA transformer, 10VA may be enough for just doorbell camera but you also have the chime(s) that need to be powered, and sometimes path-lights or other things are wired on the circuit as well. Probably with your 10VA you will have the same issue soon again. Thanks

I found my transformer just like the one in the video attached to the lamp. However, when I opened it, there was one black wire coming from old transformer connected with two white wires. I took black one out and the door bell didn’t work. Then when I connect the black one with the two white wires it worked again. Not sure how to proceed.

did your breaker trip when it was bad? Mine is tripping so now I'm looking for the transformer.
