I would add butyl tape or thick silicone before install along with flashing/caulk on the floor.

Well hell, If you watch at the very end you can see the moulding added at the top to avoid having to seal those huge gaps.

Yep. A tiny pilot hole will avoid all the effort he was putting into those "self-tapping" screws.

Have you ever heard of an angle grinder before? He said use tool of choice because there are numerous tools that you can use and like in the video clip he chose an angle grinder

Cut off wheels tend to get the straightes cuts . Pro tip . Once you know where the door is going, cut out a small piece of the inverted section of panel. Use it as a guild to mark those cuts in that section of your cutout . You'll get a better line to follow this way.
