I bought a tim mcamis chassis. Everything about it is awesome. When I picked up my chassis. All my suspension parts. And my 572. Went in perfectly. The best buy I've made..
I enjoy watching these videos, the way he casually slips in explicit sarcastic insults towards other peoples work is the best! "So, when i open this door, see, this thing swings out nice and flat. It doesn't look like so piece of shit that the door is fallin off of..." Yes!
If the inner door was an aluminum insert, would it need the backing plate re-enforcement? I know the carbon is a ton lighter, but was just thinking about maybe crackout around the backing plates over time versus a more durable material and repair issues maybe two or three seasons on the car
The hinges also have an inner backing plate that Tim forgot to mention when speaking about the hinges, but touches on later in the video. We have numerous cars with carbon doors mounted as seen in the video that have over 15+ seasons on them with no issues. Everything is reinforced for longevity.
+Tim McAmis Performance Parts I am definitely no car builder, but I think it is awesome y'all take the time to reply to these comments. I have learned tons just from watching this series and the way every issue is approached and comments are replied to only adds to y'alls reliability. Thanks so much
