Cool video. I’m learning all I can about these as I’m buying one from a friend hopefully this summer. Of course I’m getting a repair manual if he doesent have one.
Thanks for the video. I also have a NewHolland tc55da tractor for 15 years now and have been very happy with it . I still have the original battery in it and it starts right up . The mice like to build nests in it when it is left outside ,so i am completely going over all wires and Checking for any potential problems . Go BILLS !
Thanks for the comment Tom. I am blown away how much I love my New Holland TC33D. I was in the market for a used Kubota. Then I saw this TC33D on craigslist. Before that I did not know a thing about NH. So I went and looked at it and it really sold me on it's design and layout of the features. I love the loader joystick in the fender instead of the dashboard area. All the controls are at a fingertips reach. All the hydraulic lines are very neatly run, and the engine underhood is very well layed out as well. Some engineer really put some thought and design time into this tractor. It is a joy to use and fun to work on. I hope you keep enjoying yours too.
I have a 2001 New Holland TC33D. Case IH has an identical model the DX33. The D indicates the Deluxe Light package and Deluxe 3 point hitch . New Holland has 3 models the TC33, TC33D and the TC33DA.
I recently picked up a 2002 TC33D in beautiful shape. Have you ever GPS'ed the top speed in third? It was advertised as a 15mph road gear, but I never get more than 9. Seems to be a common problem, but no one has discussed where there is an adjustment.
@@kooldoozer no whine or anything, it sounds normal, and in lower gears it'll push hard with no slip. My understanding is the pressure reliefs for the hydro unit are internal and not adjustable. You have to split it to get to them. It isn't that big of deal to me, just a bit slower going between my place and my uncles farm grabbing attachments. I would eventually like to figure it out though.
