Once again the French resorts replacing every cable car with a bloody 10 MGD!! I understand why it was done on Flegere, as that mountain always struggles with access, but it's not like Grands Montets ever struggled!! Not to mention the Plan Joran already improves the access. The first lift should be kept a cable car, have some traditional vibes. Such a shame because the second section looks brilliant. What a party pooper!!
Hope to see the final result. It seems that the top of the Grands Montets will became a spot for tourist like the Aiguille du Midi. With the old cable car it was only for skiers and mountaineers.
If you are un real mountaineer, take a pair of skins and you ll see thousand of places like the top of grand montets without tourists. You are my tourist ;-)
@@Lejouy ;-) I am not interested in Disneyland infrastructure on a mountain. I also don't want this. But, get up efficiently is nice, giving the opprtunity to make more ski runs in a day. Which of course comes along with more bumps, more ici slopes, shorter powdr opportunities, because there is higher skier frequency in general. Always pro and con.
Toujours cette politique du supplément pour le sommet dommage. Beaucoup d’effort pour intégrer les bâtiments dans la montagne mais pas de lien avec la gare de train en bas et pire encore une sorte de piste pour accès des équipements de construction. Allez vous restaurer cette section après utilisation ? Dommage que la protection de l’environnement se limite a la bâtisse
Lors du conseil municipal le 21 décembre 2023, Mathieu DECHAVANNE le PDG de la Compagnie du Mont-Blanc a communiqué le prix pour le forfait à la journée « Liberté » (ancien « Unlimited ») sera à 104 euros (contre 83 € en 2024) le supplément pour l’accès au sommet de Grands Montets sera à 33 euros !
