The problem is the musicality, the timing. The lack of spontaneity. It is not like Troels and Ina, and Donnie Burns and Gaynor, or Bryan and Carmen. They are not sensitive and musical enough. Not precise enough in their musical interpretation. . It has been a problem all through their carer. Apart from that, they are more natural in shows than in competitions.
But we have to agree that they have managed to create unmistakably unique personal rumba style. Which is very difficult to accomplish and speaks highly of their artistic prowess. Their rumba style is much more distinctive than the style of T&I or B&C. I think it's even more distinctive than rumba style of Paul & Hanna or Slavik & Co. In particular, Marina's style of dancing in their show rumbas is truly mesmerizing.
