Hii so I have a question. I’ll be attending uiuc this fall and I’m very into taking care of my natural type 4 hair and wash day has always been a lot to do in my own bathroom..so living in a dorm and having to use community bathrooms how do you wash and take care of your hair???
HI! In all honesty, it wasn't an issue freshman year because I was only there for two weeks due to Covid-19 & had braids at the time. Sophomore year, I lived in Scott which has a shared bathroom between 3 other girls. I typically carried out washday normally and just cleaned up hair afterwards (so wash in the bathroom and detangle fully in my dorm room usually at my desk). However, I will say I had protective styles more often than not because it was easier to manage. hope this helps!!
