Even before Klopp, there was a bond between Liverpool and Dortmund and it's always great when a game is played in front of fans with mutual respect. What a tie.
Max wil I know this comment is a bit late but I just wanted to say that your club is my 2nd most favourite club in the world just because your fans are so loyal and clearly show that they would do anything for Dortmund I am a Liverpool fan so there is another reason because of the friendship the two clubs. Shalke are shit and it was so funny when u beat them 4-0so that’s funny I also hope u like monchengladback because Us and them have a huge friendship just like Dortmund and us and gladback are a very good side and very friendly fans aswell and one question do u hate man United
Dortmund and Liverpool are best friends. Whenever they play each other, smiles from both teams after the final whistle no matter the score. Etche Liebe. YNWA
um, yeah, It started in Liverpool and Liverpool does do it in a unique way, but this song has been sung in other stadiums for decades now. It's not like other club supporters just discovered it... And tbh, it was never a song written for LFC, so any club supporters can use it. Should make you proud that even in Germany they adapted this english chant
Beautiful. The Dortmund fans who came to Anfield were pure class. All around the city & the ground, before the match, was red & yellow mixed. Best set of supporters I've seen at Anfield, since St Etienne in 1977...!!!
Yep, thats also why they threw glass bottles at Women and children who wanted to watch the game RB Leipzig vs BVB and they rioted. Oh, and they also had some banners where they wrote death messages and heavy insults on. And the south stand has to be closed for the next match plus Dortmund has to pay 100.000 € because of these things. Oh, and they are the 3rd most violent fans in Germany. Police also stopped a bus full of Dortmund fans on their way to the game against Darmstadt and they found weapons, pyrotechnics and drugs. The amount of extreme right people in the fans groups is also growing fast. Yeah, Dortmund fans are really nice and friendly! WOW!
iMerLyrics The thing is: You can't call it "few" anymore, because there are so many incidens in that fanbase. Also, you can't call Dortmund Fans fantastic, best in the world and nice when only "a few" of them are singing and jumping and creating great atmosphere! Stop generalizing!
Still watching Liverpool and Dortmund fans 2019 ??? 👍🏻🇬🇧🇩🇪👍🏻 Come on Liverpool we win the League title 2019 and Good luck to Dortmund I hope you win your League 👍🏻👍🏻 YNWA - Your Never Walk Alone !
This is why football is the greatest game in the world, with the most passionate fans in the world. Football is a game which makes grown men cry (see Man City winning the title with literally the last kick of the season) and a game which breaks down racial barriers and unites millions.
Exactly, I'll give Jackett a pass for this year. Honestly I'm okay with a midtable finish, just be well clear of the relegation zone. (Even though I wanted him sacked about 15 different times this year)
2 class teams. If Liverpool will advance, I know all Dortmund fans wants us to win. And it's same if Dortmund advance. Also, last time I was at Anfield (watched the match against Leicester on Anfield this season), it was lot's of Dortmund fans there. Seemed like Liverpool/Dortmund got some fan base connection together. It's pretty cool.
+JackBaradiTV Same to you! I'm so hyped for the game tonight. As a Liverpool fan, I really hope and think Liverpool will advance. But, it will be tough. :D
Bin schon immer Bayern-Fan und werde es auch bleiben, aber ich ziehe aufrichtig meinen Hut vor allen Dortmund und Liverpool Fans. Das ist ganz großes Kino!! RESPEKT!!
but it was not a gesture in terms of paying respect to Liverpool. You'll never walk alone is sung before every Dortmund match. Bundesliga, Champions League, no matter who they are playing against.
German people are the best ive met on holiday or in Germany ! love there footy like us love a drink like us and love a bit of old school banter ! top people in my opinion
That's because Anglo-Saxons and Germans are actualy ONE people only devided by the North Sea. Dortmund is the capital of Westfalen and Westfalen together with Engern and Ostfalen were part of the Stammesherzogtum Sachsen, the key stone of the first German Reich founded in 911AD. Hengist&Horsa came from (Lower) Saxony! Technically the English are offspring of us like the first American settlers were offspring of you.
I am not a liverpool or dortmund fan but this is by far the best anthem in football. In my mind it should be the anthem to world football. Respect to both sets of fans.
kashattack personally and of a very biased nature, try the Juventus stadium song. Pure magic. Deafens you when you’re there and sticks in your flipping head for days, lol
I agree that Liverpool has the best "anthem" but it's also sort of unfair because it being in English is a massive advantage when it comes to an international audience. I have no idea what Italian clubs sing about, what French clubs sing about etc. and there's no hope in hell of me ever being able to sing along to their song. :P By football fans around the world being able to sing along to YNWA they will likely rate it higher than other songs that might be just as good. I'm not English and not particularly a Liverpool supporter either but I still sing along to their song when it's on TV etc. I can't really do that for some Brazilian team, a Japanese team or whatever. ;)
When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark At the end of a storm There's a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Though your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone
yes FC Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have both a huge and gigantic tradition in Football - Dortmund was the first german Club who wins an european Championship 1966 in Glasgow against Liverpool FC - 2:1 the second Goal shot Stan Libuda - the real Name was Reinhard Libuda - he was called Stan, because he could so fantastic dribblings like Stanley Matthews - Stan Libuda was born in Gelsenkirchen - he had played for Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund - he died unlucky 1996 in the age of 52 years.
One of the best games I have witnessed in the Europa League. Liverpool were fantastic to come back against a great team. Fair play to the fans from Dortmund and Liverpool singing this amazing song. This is what football is all about. Brilliant. Respect to both of these great teams.
Chapeau
This is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. Such class from Dortmund and Liverpool fans. You make me proud to love my Club Cop and Country YNWA
Unbilievable Moment! I´m Brazilian and I love football (soccer). It´s so beautiful when the human being recoginizes that some things are bigger than a game! I can see two teams making history. Thank you Liverpool. Thank you Dortmund. "We will never walk alone" Jesus bless everyone!
Es geht mir immer noch durch Mark und Bein wenn ich das höre. Ich war glücklicherweise im Stadion und es gibt nichts besseres ( ausser an der Anfield Road ) in der Bundesliga oder in Europa. Einfach nur absolut Geil. BVB for Ever !!!!
