I wish there was a windows based program for programming these older Motorola radios. I have some Kenwood TK-3150 and 8130 radios which I can save data files in sprasheet form, which makes it easy to set all the frequencies and channel details. Not a fan of DOS. Maybe I'm missing an easier way here, regarding the Motorola programming?
Yes you can use a USB adapter but can take longer for programming the radio. I have had success with it. For me personally it was easier to spend the 20 bucks and add an expansion card to my computer is what worked best overall for me. Like I said thanks for watching be sure to like and subscribe
Just subscribed . Just purchased a few old mts2000 for my nonprofit veteran support charity and faith based first responders, any idea on how to reprogram the handhelds and the base models? i have all the cables.
Hello. I have a Motorola Radius CM200 and a Baofeng UV82 and I would like the 2 radios to communicate with each other. I am about 3 weeks into the Ham radio hobby and any helpful information would be appreciated. Thankyou.
Hello. How about this. I have got GM900 software in computer. File is in C: file Motorola name RUNTIME i don't understand how i get DOSBOX working.......DOSBOX is downloads in computer and working.
Dangerous messing with this.. I would highly advise against this...you can brick your radio!! BEST to just get an old win 95-98 computer and use that! IN TZHIS VIDEO HE SAYS HES NEVER PROGRAMMED A RADIO USING THIS DOSBOX.. IM WARNING YOU NOT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
