Easyer way drag & drop the program (exe file) over Dosbox with your mouse when it says open with Dosbox DOS Emulator drop it in Dosbox. and it will open the software. you do the same for all the other programs. That was easyer for me I could not figure out the other way to confusing and could figure it out so this is the way I do it.
Luiz Arthur This video was made on a desktop but I've also programmed with a laptop. I've always used computers with a physical com port. I used an Amazon RIB and a serial 25 pin to rj45 adapter on the radio side. I used a regular Ethernet cord from rib to radio
I cannot read what you typed in for serial port and video is not clear enough to see it, you got a little lost on shoeing com ports while typing,can you write in the kine exact on comments please, thanks for helping
make sure you're watching the video in 720p so the typing is clear. the line i have is: Serial1=directserial realport:com1 "serial1" is what dosbxo thinks com1 is "directserial" means that I'm telling dosbox that I'm connecting the rib to the computer via a physical comport and not a usb to serial adapter "realport:com1" means that i have checked in my device manager in windows and verified that the physical com port is known to windows as "com1"
stephen ingram I got this particular radio from a friend. I've also bought some on eBay. You just have to be careful because the seller doesn't always know what they have.
