Kuchela's Curry Pot is usually open Mondays to Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Dosti means Friendship in Hindi!! And Roti is a typical INDIAN flat bread!!

@Adam A. Ya! Buddy I know that. Did I say anywhere that it's a Indian Roti? I am just telling about its origin. Many Indians were sent there as slaves & they adapted according to the local material & environment to make it. Did I state that it's not Trinidad Roti? Common man, cut me some slack will ya!!!

@@BlackHawkTejas Correction: East Indians were not “sent as slaves.” They were brought from British India to the British West Indies ( Trinidad, Jamaica, Guyana, etc.) as indentured (contract) labourers. And that was after slavery was abolished). Much of Trinidadian Indian food has its basic origin in India, but still somewhat, somehow, distinctly different. A good example is dhal puri. Enjoy. And stay safe.

@@maharajRRM Agreed! The basic origin were/are Indian, but obviously locally available ingredients, culture will change that & that will influence those & that's what we love about food. More diversity the better!!

The stall across the street has been on the Western main road for over 60 years.Khani’s roto is more well known. Passed down 4 generations. First stop when I hit St James

Thank you for calling this roti by its true name: dosti. Sadly, original names are now being changed to 'skin' and buss up shut' not ' paratha' an dhal puri. Pls retain foods' original names.

It is a pity u never met the original st James roti cooks a lot of these street vendors are not homies the original family oriented cooks and family have since passed on only one of the original remains right next to Clarence street,personally no one can ever compare to the original
